From the wood-burning stove to the warm and welcoming nature-themed decor, this rustic getaway offers all the comforts of home! The spacious living room is the ideal place to relax, as it features beautiful lake views, 2 plush futons, and a flat-screen satellite/Smart TV.

Spend your downtime enjoying the many private amenities that the property provides. Outside you'll find 100 feet of lakeshore frontage with a landscaped fire pit (wood is provided) and propane grilling area (propane is provided), hot tub, and entrance to an electric sauna!

Create a culinary masterpiece in the fully equipped kitchen, complete with stainless steel appliances and gleaming granite countertops. There's ample seating at the center island as well as in the screened-in porch.

The incredible location of this cabin offers private dock access to Loon Lake for some waterfront fun! Take the provided paddle boards and paddle boats out for a spin, or launch your own water toys to go fishing, jet skiing, and kayaking. Life jackets are also provided during your stay.

Avid golfers of your group will love heading to The Preserve Golf Course, The Pines Golf Course, or Traditional Golf Course at Breezy Point Resort for a day on the links! Hiking can also be found nearby at Foot Hills State Forest or Pillsbury State Forest.

In the winter, there's also an abundance of snow-filled activities to enjoy. The Pequot Lakes and Nisswa areas are ideal for ice fishing, snowmobiling and snowshoeing. A short 20-minute drive will take you to Ski Gull with varying trails, a terrain park, and tubing hill!

Get out and about when you head to Big Axe Brewing Company or Gull Dam Brewing for a beer after your daily adventure. For some family-friendly fun, visit Wildwedge Golf, Mini Golf and Maze just 10 minutes away.

A family gathering of nine adults from Texas, North Carolina, Colorado, and Minnesota - all were quite comfortably accomodated in this lovely encampment on a quiet lake. Lots of space to squirrel away from each, and good areas to play games together. Swam to our hearts content. Really had a lovely time.

Everything was as described, and we had no issues with our stay. The hot tub and sauna were easy to use. The kid's cabin was nice and warm, even in the middle of January. Nice appliances. One of the beds was in an enclosed porch, so that did get a bit chilly.

Bi-annual family get together
Nice lake home with beautiful lake view enjoyed by ourselves, our kids, and grandkids. These comments are made for your information: Five of the beds are in three rooms upstairs. There are no doors separating the rooms which was awkward even for family. The two sleeping accommodations in separate cabins have no curtains which even our teenager commented on. The property owner was very responsive and helpful. We made good use of the lake, paddle boat, and paddle boards, and the hot tub and fire pit area were a big hit. The kitchen was roomy and well stocked, but the dining area had picnic tables which aren’t the most comfortable. Overall our family had a lovely time together in this lake home.

BEWARE OF BEDBUGS!
We would love to give this property a good rating due the beautiful setting but our vacation was ruined with the discovery of bed bugs in the main bedroom. We found 2 live bed bugs and molted exoskeletons clinging to the curtains. We notified the property manager , took all our belonging out of the room , washed everything we had and bought bed bug spray for our luggage.Property manageer came ,took the bugs and notified evolve and the owner. The family that was in the bedroom left early and brought the bugs to their new home which required an expensive extermination. The owner stated he had an pest control company come in and found no evidence of bugs. I'm sure that's because we and the property manager cleaned before they came. Sad to say we were disappointed with the owners response to our ruined vacation.

Finishing Touches Needed
We enjoyed how the cabin sits up off the lakeshore with a stunning view of the lake. While the upgrades to, and remodel of the cabin is very nice, there were numerous amenities that have been overlooked. Unfortunately, this contributed to a less than comfortable stay, leaving us quite disappointed with our long awaited getaway. Some (not all) of the issues that affected the overall comfort included: ● A lack of pots and pans. Of what was there, several were scratched making them unusable. ● Worn, torn and saggy mattresses and box springs. The lack of comfortable beds had a significant impact on our quality of rest. ● No dresser, nightstand or anywhere to hang clothes in the main floor bedroom. No dressers or hangers upstairs. All of our things were on the floor, in a suitcase or laid out on an extra bed. ● Towels and linens were worn and some even stained. An extra blanket for warmth was found, but it was full of large holes. ● The cupboard where dinnerware was kept had a strong fish smell. A deodorizer had been placed in there, but that made it smell even worse. ● It was impossible to enjoy the view with cloudy and heavily streaked windows. We tried to clean the lakeside windows, but didn't have the right tools to do it well. Many cobwebs, dead bugs and debris inside and out of the windows throughout the home. ● Main floor bedroom carpeting and great room sofas were stained and felt dirty, which was very uncomfortable. We felt a need to cover everything we sat on. ● We had to clean and sanitize the hot tub. ● We had to clean out the fire pit area. A bag of snack mix/pretzels were left in a wet and mushy pile next to one of the chairs. It was quite unpleasant, especially when we found our dog eating it. Overall, given the number of items that were not satisfactory, we felt that the amount we paid per night was more than its worth. While the VRBO pictures reflected the home set-up and remodel, the price didn't reflect the lack of finishing touches that we would have expected to have a stay like this be fun and memorable. It was most disappointing for us as we brought a friend who just moved here from Washington and was excited to have a true Minnesota experience. To the contrary, it was quite uncomfortable and very disappointing. After some exchanges with the owner, he did state he would look into replacing towels and cookware.

Everything about the weekend was great. Plenty of space for 7 of us, with room to spare. The hot tub and sauna were awesome extras to have. The property owner even stopped by to check on us and ask if we needed anything. I would highly recommend this property.

Very Enjoyable
We had a very enjoyable 3 nights stay. The hot tub was a very nice amenity. The owner provided firewood which was a wonderful bonus and we enjoyed a nice fire each evening. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, and the view from the living room overlooking the lake was so tranquil. We would love to come back again. I gave a rating of 4 because the floors and bathrooms could have been more thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival.

Every question and request was met with a fast and friendly answer by the property manager. Very much appreciated. Our family of 6 adults plus 2 dogs stayed in the cabin. While we were snug we were definitely comfortable. Quiet location that allowed us a fun family gathering.

Good amenities needs some TLC to get it up to the standard of what you pay for.
Good value for what we paid, but given the current rental rates, I think there are better our there for the money. Met promptly at 11:01 on check out day and rushed out the door.

Our stay began with a sink full of soapy water to wipe down the refrigerator and kitchen counter tops. Later I was on my hands and knees with a bucket of water cleaning the hardwood floors so our crawling granddaughter didn’t have a dirt filled outfit. The three bedrooms are really only two since the third bedroom is a room you walk through to get to one of the bedrooms and it has no door for privacy. The owner lives nearby and we had to ask for more hand towels and wash clothes for the kitchen and bathrooms which they did provide. On site laundry allowed us to wash them every day. The outdoor water equipment/toys were not clean. We had to dump out dirty water and wipe down the paddle boat and had to clean the kayak before anyone dared to get in. The location is great. The view is beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked for our family of six. Never used the game room/cabin as it was not clean and didn’t want to spend my vacation cleaning it for our family to use. FYI - There is no table indoors for family to gather for meals only picnic tables on screened in porch located on the back of the house. Our experience would have been much better if the clearers had done their job and we arrived in a clean rental which is what we (and all renters) expect.

Great property with plenty of space. Hot tub was great since it was a little cool. Lake was peaceful. Good response from the property manager when we were out of propane. Oven and grill had to be cleaned before use. No wash clothes provided, but had towels. Very little for kitchen towels also.
