Summary:
A two bedroomed semi detached cottage in the sleepy village of Pentre, situated in the South Wales Valleys; perfect for a holiday home or contractor’s accommodation. Ideally located close to the train station with ample parking close by.

The Space:
Alma Cottage is a 2 bedroom cottage which sleeps up to 5 guests.

Upstairs bedroom 1 contains a double bed.
Bedroom 2 contains two single beds
The bathroom contains a bath and over-bath shower.
Towels, bed-linen and hairdryer provided.
The sofa in the lounge is a sofa bed. Bedding is stored in bathroom in a laundry bag.

Downstairs, the living space is open plan and is the perfect place to relax. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your needs including a washer dryer and fridge freezer. There is also a downstairs WC for your convenience.

Outside you will find a small enclosed garden with patio area to relax at your leisure.
Perfect for Family Holidays, Mountain Bikers and Trekkers.

Guest Access:
Parking is directly outside with plenty of unrestricted parking spaces less than 20 metres from the front door.

The property is self check in using the key box outside the property. You will receive a code within 48 hours of your check in date. You will have the whole property to yourself for the duration of your stay. You won't be sharing with anyone.

The Neighborhood:
Pentre is a quaint village in the Rhondda Valley in South Wales. The name is taken from the Welsh word Pentref, which translates as homestead.

Alma Cottage is in the heart of the Welsh Valley's giving you access to plenty of nature and adventure.
Just a 20 minute drive from Zip World; the fastest sit-down zip wire in the world!

A similar distance to the west and you'll find the Afan Forest Park which is perfect for mountain bikers or hiking. On the route you pass over the Bwlch mountain, with it's stunning views of the second highest public mountain pass in Wales.

Approximately 30 minutes drive to the North and you will reach the Brecon Beacons mountain range which contains Pen y Fan, the highest mountain in South Wales.
Approx (7.3 miles) 20 mins is the Rhondda Heritage Park a Welsh Coal Mining Experience.
