I recently stayed at this cozy one-bedroom VRBO cottage, and overall, I had a pleasant experience. While the neighborhood might not be the most picturesque, it is more than acceptable for the price point, and the value you get is certainly worthwhile.
Upon entering the cottage, I was greeted with a clean, well-decorated space, which is always my top priority when choosing a rental. The retro fridge adds a touch of charm to the kitchen, and the entire place has a quaint, inviting vibe. Though a bit older, the bathroom offers a reliably hot shower, which I appreciated.
The cottage is well-equipped with all the necessary toiletries, and the towels provided are soft and good quality. The little welcome items (dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, and soap) were a thoughtful touch.
Although the property doesn't have central AC, the window AC units kept the space nice and cool upon arrival, which was a pleasant surprise. The temperature inside was just right, ensuring a comfortable stay.
While the exterior landscaping could use some sprucing up, the property does feature a barbecue pit, which might be a nice bonus for some guests, even though I didn’t use it myself. Despite the initial concerns about the neighborhood, the cottage itself stands out as a clean and comfortable retreat.
