Carefully renovated with exposed beams and modern open plan living you will enjoy your stay looking out onto the beck with the water running past. The garden has seating provided so you can relax and make the most out of the tranquil surroundings on offer. Still a fully functioning flour mill you will be able to watch as the owners utilise the neighbouring water to power the twin wheels they need to create their high end local flour.
You will be spoilt for choice locally, be sure to visit Lacy’s Caves, five chambers carved out of the sandstone cliff with views of the river. Just a short walk from the village you will find Long Meg and her daughters, a stone circle from the bronze age and one of the finest in the north of England.
