"The new owner, Elizabeth, was very helpful, friendly and approachable. She bought the motel at the end of 2024 and is slowly improving it. The business and buildings had been a little tired when I visited 12 months previously, but already are noticeably better. The reception area is now a brighter, larger and more welcoming area to greet first arrival; though there are some facilities that still need maintenance such as the guest washing machine that I noticed was out of order, but not important...

"we just stayed for one night but this place was exactly what we needed. functional & they’ve thought of everything. it’s an older style motel, but they don’t pretend to be anything else. very comfy bed, aircon was strong, shower head was powerful. we arrived quite late and did late check in. we had some confusion (which was on us) about rooms, and the owner/worker (i think his name was Jamie) answered the phone out of working hours and quickly, easily, and politely help us solve the issue. would...
