"This is a fantastic cottage in an adorable village. It has rolling hills, a burn and lots of sheep! The cottage itself was quite large and was fit for our family of 6, including adult children and their spouses. It was clean, decorated well and rather comfortable. There are amenities within walking distance such as a pub, museum, etc. We wished we had stayed longer and we'll definitely return!"

"The bedrooms were a generous size. With a large sitting room, spacious kitchen/diner, a separate dining room, and a second smaller sitting room with piano, there are plenty of options for getting together with your house guests. We were lucky with the weather, and ate breakfast on the patio and a barbecue in the garden. A memorable stay."

"We enjoyed the stay very much. A beautiful property with a small river and lots of wildlife. Just the thing for nature lovers. The kitchen was well equipped, so self-catering was easy."

"The relatively remote location was good, with deer and hares visiting in the evenings. Somewhat disappointed that there were not more local walks to be made from the property. Altogether a lovely time at this well-equipped dwelling despite mixed weather."

"Overall a lovely cottage suitable for our needs. Good facilities & great peaceful location. On arrival it could have been a bit cleaner. It could do with a better working vacuum cleaner & the dust section was full when we tried to use it. Decor could do with updating. The bathroom could do with a towel rail & an extractor fan or easier access to open the window."
