A designer furnished town house overlooking the Mediterranean, with shared swimming pool for 7 houses, ten minutes walk from a 10 km sandy beach and the old fishing village of Peniscola. The owner (interior designer) has furnished the house for her own use and thus equipped it to a very high standard. There are 3 bedrooms and 3 Bath/shower rooms. On three levels each with a large terrace all bedrooms and terraces have a view of the 12th Century castle (Featured in El Cid). There is a private driveway (1 car). Within a 10 minute drive of Sierra de Irta National Park, the coastline, one of the least populated in Spain, has many hidden coves. Valencia 70 minutes, Barcelona 2 hours by car or train. The competition Panoramica golf course is a 35 minute drive through spectacular countryside. This very Spanish resort is still relatively undiscovered.
The house looks directly on to the old town of Peniscola, a walled fishing village, a peninsula made famous by the
Papa Luna, the Knights Templars and the film El Cid, (filmed in the town in 1962) There are also views of the fishing port and of the Mediteranean, straight up to the Delta del Ebre (visible on clear days) This very traditional Spanish holiday town has remained very Spanish and is a popular holiday resort with the inhabitants of Zaragoza, Barcelona and Valencia, all within easy drving distance. There are very few properties with this view available for rental.
