The guest house in the Chungking building, look a bit shabby at first but it’s actually very safe, it’s Kowloon and people are very respectful. "Worst place I have ever stayed. Please note that this is not a separate building, just some rooms on the 12th floor of the building with many similar "hotels" in it. The staff spoke very little English and couldn't give me directions, so a nice policeman showed me how to get there. There are only 2 lifts for this busy building and they are always occupied so you have to queue for ages to get upstairs.
