"Bedding and towels and toilet roll not replaced, only one pillow each and never anyone on the desk, you had to call a number to contact anyone. Over all it was clean and very well priced. "After staying in the middle of some cities for several days, this was a nice break in the middle of nature. The staff went the extra miles for non hotel business related stuff. Their dinner recommendation was awesome and their breakfast even better."

"Beautiful property, great breakfast. Our stay was spoilt be being asked by the owner to check out two hours earlier than advertised, ie at 10am, so beware if you are checking out on Sunday. We felt we had no choice but to comply - it should not have been like that. In the rush to vacate our rooms we forgot we had to pay cash, rather than the credit card details given on booking. The owner was understanding about this and we settled the bill remotely by bank transfer. So, a good and bad...

"Wonderful to experience one of these old farmhouse homes for the first time. Full of charm. Amazing old tiled breakfast room and very generous breakfast. A hiccup with finding the place but this was due to address on this website being wrongly listed by the tourist office as the road name had been changed. Local police most helpful, as was the kind local man who took us to the nearby police station. The Portuguese are wonderful people. The owner of the home was most courteous and spoke good...

Bemyguest - Loft Guest House Jardim das Mães Charming

"Our stay was most enjoyable. Staff was welcoming and very helpful. Our room was convenient. Elevator access is helpful. The location is optimal, with sites, shopping and dining all very close and an easy walk. We would certainly return it we find ourself in the great city of Viseu again."

"We had a very nice stay at this hotel in the mountains. There were some nice (though not easy) walks nearby me the hotel felt much like a wellness retreat. We opted for 1/2 board (breakfast dinner) since there were not a lot of spots nearby and the driving made me a bit nervous. The menu had good selection and I appreciated seeing wines on the menu from their Duoro vineyard location. "
