"A great cabin on the lake; a really nice spot for many things - fishing, bird watching, leaf peeping. It is a bit of a steep walk down to the lake with steps, but worth it. Tons of great things to do in the area - state parks, shopping, restaurants, access to many lakes in the area etc... The cabin is set up very nicely with everything you would expect for cooking (except no grill), hanging out, and sleeping. It is very cute and comfortable. "The property was peaceful. Lots of birds flittering about. If you like to fish, especially for bass this is a great place. Every 2 hour trip I took out I caught 10-15 bass. All 3.5+ pounds. The largest was over 5 and I had multiple that size. The location of the fire pit right by the lake was a perfect end to the days. Will definitely be booking again. There are some minor spruce up repairs to be made but communication with the host indicated they plan to do those this year. "
