"We stayed 4-nights in a beach view room on the first floor. Room was a good size and well appointed with large patio area for relaxing. The property had lots of relaxing lounges including library and a small gym. The pool had sun loungers that could be transferred to the beach if preferred. Pool was lovely and refreshing after walks along the beach. Direct access to the beach, across the local railway line (local train passes around once an hour - this didn’t impact our stay at The Long House). Walk into Bentota via the beach was about 20-minutes or 5-minutes in a Tuk Tuk. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. We loved our stay. "
