"We circumnavigated Sicily in 10 days and stayed in 6 different towns. Siracusa was our last sightseeing stop. We chose to stay in Floridia to give easy access to the Catania airport for an early flight. Of all our lodging spots, B&B Mediterraneo was the least prepared for our arrival and provided the lowest level of service. It is actually a suite of rooms on the 3rd floor of an apartment building. "We really enjoyed our stay at the villa! The view and garden are amazing, and although the villa is a bit dated, it’s charming and clean. Gianni and Franca did a fantastic job taking care of the house and helping out when needed. I truly recommend the villa to any large family or group!"

"Room was spacious with excellent shower and washing facilities. The place was spotless with the large outside areas well tended. The outdoor breakfast was varied and lovely. The staff in particular were kind, attentive and helpful. The hotel is in a nature reserve so the countryside was spectacular. Quiet in the evenings with a little bar by the pool. Wonderful."

"We stayed at 6 different hotels on our trip to Sicily and this was our favorite. The setting is beautiful, the property very well kept. The staff was gracious and kind. The breakfast was wonderful- so many handmade pastries and cookies, delicious and so inviting. We did not know they offered dinner or we would have tried that too. Room was very quiet and clean. "

So-so

"Photos are not super accurate. It has an RV park area, a camping area as well as the units. The unit itself had a small kitchen which would have been nice if we were there long, a bedroom with 3 twin beds and when you walk in, that also was a bedroom with a double (really 2 twins together with a sheet over them). The bathroom was ok - not super clean (ants on the floor) and the shower drain did no such thing. We used all the towels to soak up the flooded floor because there is nothing in the bathroom floor for that. Dinner was really good. Breakfast was some croissants that when we went 30 min after it opened were 80% gone and after sitting there for 10 min were never filled back up so we left without eating. That was pretty disappointing. The beach is nice. That was the best part of the place and we were only able to use it long enough to get some photos before we had to check out to go to work."
