"We enjoyed our stay, just had to clean a little first. We were not allowed to receive the address before the day of our arrival and we were driving 8 hours. By the time we got on our way, we couldn't access VRBO website. It kept saying they were having issues. So we had to find a number to call. Gentleman we reached sent us the address and access code. Other than some inconveniences, it was a great place for a lot of people. "

"We had a small friends get-together for a birthday party and really enjoyed the property. The outdoor spaces are excellent and fit a group of 6-8 well. The arcade was a fun touch! "

"The owner has done absolutely everything and more to make this a top vacation spot. Interior has an amazing log cabin feel, cozy, rustic, and welcoming. Everything you could need. Check in and out was easy, and although it was too cold to be outside much. it’s easy to see that there’d be a lot of options with a fire pit, grill, and steps down to the river. Place felt spacious and homey. 5 stars overall, although be aware that the neighboring properties are very close, so might not be as much...

"Amazing house with an amazing hot tub on an amazing location on the river. I stayed with a colleague for a business trip bc all the hotels in the area were booked and it was much better than any hotel. It’s a quiet neighborhood and was such a nice break from the work day. "

"What a beautiful home! We were wowed when we walked in and that wowing didn't stop as we walked through the house. We had 4 families staying, ages 5-45, and everyone had room for sleeping and hanging out. Sleeping areas are setup very well, with a few bonus areas I didn't notice on the listing. So many bathrooms, what a luxury! The pool area was better than expected. Everything worked well - including the sauna. Thomas responded quickly, even though nothing I asked needed immediate attention....

"This house is clean, has a well-stocked kitchen, and is in a very nice residential neighborhood. We were less than 10 minutes from everything we needed… restaurants, groceries, pharmacy. It’s our second stay here and it’s our go-to place in northern IL. Tim is very easy to contact and work with. "

"We're a little too old to all sleep in the living now so my sister and I rented a place just down the block. It was great-clean and comfortable. "

"Super cute place conveniently located in South Beloit. The hosts included a welcome basket with coffee and snacks, which was much appreciated. The home is clean and comfortable. The heater kept the home toasty, but the back room was a bit cool. It was great for us because we prefer it that way. We were here for a wedding, so some amenities we found lacking were no iron or hairdryer. We also recommend installing a towel rack in the bathroom, or at least a hook for a hand towel. We had some issues...

"This property was cute, super clean, and felt like home! Loved the piano, beds are comfortable. In a area that is close to good food option too. Going to recommend to family when they come to town for sure!"

"Our Thanksgiving family celebration was absolutely wonderful thanks to Kristy and this spacious well equipped space. Any family that needs wheelchair accessible, and has family pets, plus roomy accommodations, this is the place for you. The added treats for pets and people were a nice touch, as well. We also saw an eagle and watched a fox and bunny as we looked out at the Rock River! Thank you for everything!! 💜"

The space was as described and the pool was terrific. We enjoyed being in a smaller town where we could see stars at night but close enough to Rockford with plenty of things to do. "
