"My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at this bed and breakfast. It was our first experience at a bed and breakfast and the standard has now been set very high! We were welcomed by our hosts who offered and had a drink with us before recommending and booking a traditional French restaurant in town for us. The room was immaculate - styled beautifully and very clean. We slept so well and then were treated to a wonderful and plentiful breakfast. I could not recommend La Maison du Poëlon...

"The front desk hours were not very consistent. They were closed intermittently throughout the day. My electricity went out on one side of the townhome. "Photos on hotels.com are extremely misleading, room I got was very old and tired. There was no coffee or tea making facilities in the room. I asked at reception and was told none available for the room. Receptionist was very helpful and friendly but this does not make up for the room being nothing like the photos. Just old and run down and lacking facilities. Plus the Wi-Fi did not work for my entire two day stay. I’m assuming some rooms have been renovated but I got given an un renovated room...
