Nestled in a rural area and within walking distance of the East Verde River that runs through the community, this amazing area offers a relaxing retreat for guests. Rim Country Museum and Myra's Art Gallery are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Rancho Tonto Catch-A-Trout and Tonto Creek Fish Hatchery. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching. With a true rustic cabin feel, Trout Creek Cabin features a king bed, queen bed, and a sofa bed, there's plenty of space for everyone. Great location! Cabin was amazing. Very clean and well stocked. Comfy! We will definitely stay again. Communication was excellent with the hosts and they provided lots of info on local hikes, fishing and things to do.

Great cabin in a great location
We really enjoyed our stay! Cabin is well equipped with more than just the essentials. Decor is very cute and accommodations very comfortable. Loved being able to walk to the river and the park every day with our dog. We would definitely consider staying at this cabin again.

Great getaway
This was a nice cabin to stay in for a family of four and a dog. The kitchen was well equipped so we were able to cook easily throughout the week. The fishing was within walking distance. The owners gave detailed information about the place so we were able to make use of all the amenities available. We would definitely stay here again.

Memorial weekend stay
Myself, my husband, and our three kids (age4-12) came to stay for 2 nights. We enjoyed our stay and the proximity to several of the hikes we enjoy in Payson, as well as being able to walk to go fishing and the community playground. We especially enjoyed hanging out on the front porch and the cabin had everything we needed. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Absolutely Awesome!
I have stayed at mountain cabins in Calif, Colo, and all over Arizona and this is the BEST cabin I have stayed at. It is warm, welcoming and has virtually everything one needs for a few days in the high country. It is more than just a cabin.....it is a home. I cannot say enough about how much I and my adult daughter enjoyed the stay. Our two dogs seemed at home and comfortable as well. I give this cabin and the manager my highest recommendation. I WILL go back.

Serene Stay
Exactly what my hubby and I were looking for. The property was even better than the pictures!!! Will definitely stay here again. Even thinking about renting for my parents as a surprise getaway for them. The only downfall to mention was the bed(s) are not that firm at all and a bit sunk in where people have slept so I had a sore back. I am very used to and spoiled by my sleep number bed at home.

My family truly enjoyed our stay at this little cabin! The cabin is well stocked and super clean. The wrap around porch was amazing to enjoy the beautiful weather. Would definitely stay again!

Stay at Trout Creek Cabin
We had a wonderful time at the cabin. It was perfect and just what we needed to escape the valley. Chase was a great host and the welcome binder they created for guests, was very helpful. The place was clean and comfortable and had everything you could possibly need! We especially loved our mornings on the patio. We will definitely be back!

Great place to just get away. Small little community not far from restaurants and hiking. Also very nice to be able to bring the dog because the property is fully fenced.

The cabin had everything you would need for a long weekend or longer ! It was clean and so cute. The host really went out of their way to provide info on things to do in the area. There instructions for directions and how to use things , left nothing to guess about . We will be staying here again this next year
