Beautiful location. Sitting out on the deck is such a peaceful experience listening to crickets, birds, and the soft breeze blowing through the trees. If you arrive stressed, you won’t be for long.

Awesome weekend.
Absolutely a perfect getaway......Sitting on the deck and listening to the rustle of the gentle breeze through the pines- solitude at its best. Stars at night were a bonus to see. The cabin has everything you could need... we played golf and had a great weekend. Loved the cabin and plan on coming back again.

Beautiful!!
We stayed 2 nights at this cabin and it was beautiful!! It was a bit stressful trying to get the right directions but once we did it was pretty easy to find. As soon as we walked into the cabin all that stress was gone!! It was amazing, the views were awesome, especially from the deck! The cabin was beautiful and we will definitely go there again, But about the directions…for this property do not trust google maps or any map, there are written directions in the guide book that are so easy to follow, I wish I would have found these directions sooner, but all is well and we can’t wait to go back!

Quiet & cool weather in nature!
Enjoyed waking up to the views of the rim& greenery. Cabin was stocked with all essentials. Appreciated the easy to operate AC/heater in each room. Thank you!! Drive on dirt road was very dusty, yet adventurous driving in a truck!

One can"t always trust your GPS...
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the cabin outside of Payson. It might be a bit isolated for some people but we enjoyed being away from everything. The nearest shopping is a half hour away. It was quiet and had everything we needed for our stayed. The biggest difficulty was our (Google and Apple maps) GPS took us over a 4 wheeldrive needed road which took almost 2 hours to the house from Payson. There is a much easier way using the fire control road which only takes an half hour to Payson. It would be helpful if the property manager gave those directions with the confirmation email.

Great but disappointing end to the stay....
This cabin was very clean and nice. Beautiful views and comfortable. Our two grandkids loved the loft. Bathroom towels were plentiful but kitchen was a little sparse. I would recommend more dish towels (there was only one) and wash clothes instead of a dollar store sponge. There was no paper towels or napkins so we made a trip to Payson to purchase some. We were having a grand time until we ran out of water after dinner while doing dishes on the last night of our stay. Two calls which went right to voice mail to the number listed and an email, none of which were answered. Needless to say, there was no using the toilet, washing up before bed, or showers in the morning or breakfast. I cleaned the best I could with spray cleaner. We left immediately after getting up. While I understand things can go wrong, I was very disappointed that we received no response from anyone...not even yet. We paid more than we normally would as it was my husband's birthday and I felt that we deserved more than what we received. Outside of that incident, our stay was great. Just a warning, there is a cistern and not a well.
