MT VIEWS: Guesthouse w/2 HORSE STALLS + Turnout, Sleeps 4, Tack Room, Trails, Riding Ring

~ HORSE LOVER'S PARADISE ~
The ultimate Arizona mountain horse lovers experience awaits you in the quiet, cool pines of Payson, Arizona. DIAMOND SPIRIT RANCH STUDIO GUEST HOUSE is a 90 minute drive from the East Valley which includes Mesa, Scottsdale, Tempe, Gilbert, Phoenix and more. Bring your horses! There are 2 stalls, a lighted riding arena, paddocks, tack room and more... everything you and your horses need to experience a comfortable escape to the mountains.

Our property is a one minute walk to a 30 acre professional riding facility with events, arenas, instruction and clinics. Adjacent to the property is the Tonto National Forest with spectacular trails to ride and remarkable scenery to enjoy while you ride. Access is for horses, hikers and bikers; motorized vehicles are not permitted.

~ SPARKLING and CLASSY ~
The ground level studio guesthouse is a separate domicile across from the main house and features one large room with 2 queen beds, a smart TV for streaming and a well stocked kitchen with microwave, Keurig and drip coffee makers, sink and below counter fridge/freezer. Adjacent to the bedroom/kitchen is a private bath with a shower and towels. Soap and a hair dryer are supplied. Extended range high speed Internet is provided. Highchairs and Pack 'N Plays are available to rent.

Our cozy and comfortable studio guesthouse adjoins the barn which has two 12 X 15 ft stalls. Both stalls are matted and have a fan plus a gate to the turn out area. Additional amenities include a grooming area, wash rack with mats, a private, well appointed, climate-controlled tack room and two large turn out areas. Barn, tack room and grounds are well lit for optimal safety and to facilitate horse care. A 16' x 24' covered shelter for your horse(s) has been added to the lower turnout. The outdoor kitchen is surrounded by a large gathering area with a dining table and other comfortable seating choices. A wood burning fire pit will warm you when the evenings are cool (and no fire restrictions are in place). -RV hook up is $45/night includes electric, water and septic.

~ HORSES NOT REQUIRED: OUTDOOR ENTHUSIASTS' PARADISE ~
The appeal of our studio guesthouse is not limited to equestrians. Setting is lovely for nature lovers who enjoy hiking, biking and wildlife viewing or just a retreat to the mountains to restore their inner peace. Trails of all levels connect directly to our property. Binoculars and cameras are a must! It is not an appropriate rental for anyone interested in hunting.

Payson is a 15 minute drive from our home and offers lakes for fishing, wildlife viewing to include water fowl and elk, golf, shopping and quaint dining experiences. Loved the area it was located in. So many stars, like the old days, and so quiet. Comfortable beds but I would bring my own pillow next time. Loved our hosts and all their animals. Nice area to walk and hike. Will be back.

Perfect quiet get away
Great quiet and beautifully maintained property. Walking access to Tonto for hiking and a good home base for local sights and hikes. Two hour easy drive to Petrified Forest. Outdoor kitchen was perfect. We brought our own food to grill. Our hosts were very accommodating regarding towels etc. Great value for money. Would definitely use this property in the future.

Horse ranch guesthouse
We took a weekend to explore an area of Payson we hadn’t been to. We found a gem at the bottom of Star Valley. The guesthouse has a private area for your horses and directly across the street is a riding facility with lessons for the kids. It is a studio guesthouse without stove/oven but they have a grill and flattop in their courtyard outdoor kitchen which is a beautiful area to relax in. There is a small stream on location which was great to splash in with the kids as well. 10 min to Payson from the ranch.

Well appointed and charming
The hosts thought of everything! I often bemoan the lack of hooks at vacation properties, it’s so annoying to not have convenient places for jackets, backpacks, purses, etc. There are so many conveniences, and as interior designers, my friend and I were extremely pleased at the winsome and tasteful decor. Everything was comfortable and immaculate, Tristan and Paul are excellent hosts. I also enjoyed the beautiful horses on the property; Star Valley is a lovely setting.

beautiful, country, charming
The studio was perfect for our little weekend getaway. The inside is beautiful and has a cute country cowboy theme. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything necessary including a crockpot had we stayed longer. The place was warm and cozy on the cold winter days and the area around is quiet. The owners were super friendly and accommodating to all our needs and gave us great recommendations. We will be back if we need to stay in payson again.

A truly magical place
My stay at this amazing ranch was so memorable. I only wish I stayed longer. The nature around the ranch is truly magical. I enjoyed everything about this place - from the very kind and friendly host to the pine wood fragrance inside the cabin, to the comfortable bed, to the well stocked kitchen. This place is definitely a jewel and I will come back, as I love to visit this beautiful place of the Earth.

Relaxing, Remote, and pet friendly. Just what we needed.
Wife and I came out to get away from the crowds for Memorial Day weekend. This was perfect. The outdoor kitchen was great. The peaceful atmosphere surrounded by the mountains is exactly what we needed. The property manager was easy to communicate with (24/7 text). The room itself was nice. Basic, with everything you need for a short stay. VERY CLEAN!! Beds are nice. I liked the extra touch of the little USB charger ports on the night stands. Bathroom was nice. Shower was a little small. Owner lives in main house on site. Very easy going. Everything was great, especially considering the low price for a holiday weekend! The only surprise we had was the burn ban we weren’t aware of. We unknowingly violated the ban when we lit up the beautiful fire pit in the back yard. The communication leading up to our stay mentioned how to safely use the fire pit... so during the burn ban, I would recommend removing those items from the listing/emails, and instead mention that there is an area-wide burn ban (with possibly a laminated note inside the guest house).

Beautiful Peaceful Getaway
The location outside of Payson was perfect - quiet, away from noise and traffic, yet close enough to restaurants, shopping, beautiful trails and scenic drives. The guesthouse was great - clean, comfortable, attractive and fully equipped. The outdoor kitchen, patio and hot tub area was wonderful for relaxing in the fresh air. Paul and Tristan were the perfect hosts - helpful and accommodating while allowing us our own space. We definitely recommend this for a place to relax and unwind. Thanks so much!

Wonderful AZ Mountain Guesthouse for People and Horses!
Traveling across country with our pony. Arizona Vacation Home Rentals graciously accommodated a last minute request to stay. Guesthouse is perfect: clean, comfortable beds and lots of extras. The owners kindly helped us get our pony settled and we slept better than expected because he was feet away in a nice stall and we knew we would hear him if he got restless. We made a great meal in the outdoor kitchen and enjoyed relaxing afterwards on the swing while our pony explored the turn out area. The grounds are well manicured and views are extremely beautiful! Wish we could have stayed longer and used the hot tub. Tonto National Forest has riding trails that connect to the property and we took a lovely morning ride. It was amazing! This is a sweet little ranch with impressive quarters for riders and horses. The rental company (AVHR) and owners want you to be comfortable and it shows. We plan to stay here again on our way back. We highly recommend this super guesthouse and rental company! Thanks for sharing your very special place with us!
