"Great farm house stay. No neighbours. Enjoyed watching the Kangaroos. And talking to the cheeky chickens. Only 15 mins to Hunter Valley wildlife Park. Lots of added extras like snacks and breakfast in the kitchen and insect repellent in the bathroom. Would recommend."

"We had a lovely weekend stay at Knottapharm as two families with young children. The house is well equipped for adults and children and the layout is perfect when travelling with another family. There was an issue with one of the rooms before we checked in which made our sleeping arrangements a little tight but Leanne and Steven made every effort to ensure we were comfortable and still had a fabulous time. We would love to come back and stay again!"

"On arrival we made a cuppa & sat down on the verandah and ahhh…tranquility. Our daughters ran around in our private yard with a swing and we could unwind. Met the owners the next day and then every morning our girls fed the horses and sheep with them. So much fun. We were even given extra hay to feed the horses when they were next to our yard. Can’t rate it high enough"

You will never want to leave our sunny front veranda with perfect paddock views.

"This property was well beyond expectation. The house and property itself is gorgeous and so well maintained, spacious and extremely comfortable. The cleanliness was very appreciated. Christine was very easy to deal with and everything was so smooth. There are beautiful walks surrounding the property and the quietness was appreciated coming out of Sydney. This is really an outstanding stay and we will definately be back. "

"Great location and well maintained with plenty of activities for the kids. House had plenty of room for us and was nice and warm. Wide slashed paths through the property to the dams etc. Driveway had been repaired, access to the property was easy. Will definitely be coming back."

"We absolutely loved our stay - the property is stunning and so well set up for kids and families to enjoy every part of it. The house and kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we need. A note on location- it isn’t best any shops so make sure you bring everything you need!"

"The house was beautiful, we were welcomed with cheese and fruit. Everything we needed was there. It was lovely to have a peaceful and quiet place to sleep after a big day out at Summersalt. Sue and Gary were friendly and generous hosts. The kitchen has everything you need to settle in and cook Hunter Valley treats!"

"Nice view. Very clean room. Spa and swimming pool onsite look nice but didn’t get to use it, perhaps next time. Getting in and out in cars is not the most straightforward thing. Lots of Roos around the property. "
