Secluded Cabin surrounded by Nature
Exactly what we were wanting…a secluded cabin with a beautiful view nestled in the forest, surrounded by nature. So peaceful! My daughter and grand-dog joined me on a wonderful adventurous weekend. The inside of the cabin was nature themed and we enjoyed looking at all the decorative pieces. The owners provided just about everything you would need for a vacation. Just bring your clothes and food/drinks and you are set. We knew a head of time from other reviews and cabin listing but there is a spiral staircase that goes up to the 2 beds. Just be aware if you have mobility issues. My daughter slept on the comfy sofa downstairs since her Irish doodle was too scared and too big to go up them. The spiral staircase adds charm to the cabin. Also, we knew ahead of time but the drive up to the cabin was gravel and could be difficult for certain cars. Recommend AWD/4WD. But honestly that was one of the best parts. So fun to drive and really got the nature feeling. My daughter even had to remove a branch so we could get through. Loved the available fire pit but we were too tired from hiking all day. The washer/dryer/and shower was a luxury in the cabin. Definitely would stay again if we are in the area. Check out Paw-Paw Tunnel which is about a 30 min drive. If you are willing to drive a few hours, check out Blackwater Falls and the small towns of Davis and Thomas.

Beautiful Views, Peaceful Location, Comfortable Cabin
If you are looking for peace and quiet with the most beautiful view then this cabin is a real gem. We spent two weeks here and would love to go back. The cabin is simple but comfortable - good beds, good chairs, good wifi, good shower and good laundry equipment. Ariana, the property manager, is excellent - responsive and helpful. Thank you so much, Ariana. Just two notes - the lane to the cabin is steep and a little rough in places. We had no problems. Also check the photo of spiral staircase up to the bedroom if you have any mobility concerns or small children.

Peaceful and Secluded
Great property and experience. Definitely recommend all wheel drive and sufficient ground clearance for the access road. I would absolutely stay at this property again.

The Getaway
What a cozy, comfortable cabin that is literally on top of the mountain. Went for the views and they did not disappoint. The bottle of Prosecco welcomed us and we settled in. The couches and chairs were very inviting and the big soft blankets let us totally relax. The sunrises were breathtaking. Seeing a herd of deer was a plus.
