"There was no hard standing in front of the property as shown on the photo. This had been enclosed with wall and gate and therefore we found it difficult to find. The owner very kindly got us a replacement parasol but it was too light and kept blowing away! The bed linen could have been better, and lighting improved in bedrooms. More door hooks required in bathrooms and bedrooms. Could have done with some local information, eg. supermarket, cash machine, buses, taxis, nearby cafes and restaurants...

"The complex had everything we needed. Spacious and clean apartment with an amazing view over Funchal and the sea, with a nice size balcony and outdoors seating. The downside was the road in-between the accommodation and the facilities. It was quiet late at night although the traffic in the morning with all the tourist vehicles coming up the hill was rather noisy. We live in a village, so noticed it.
