"This is classed as a budget hotel, but overall I’d give this 5 stars - the staff are by far the best I’ve met, Gaetano on reception was exceptional, helpful, approachable and knowledgeable. We were even given a what’s app number if we got into difficulty/lost etc ! Housekeeping was also very good. The hotel lobby & staircase remains authentic which is really pleasing. The hotel is situated outside city centre, but on a good regular bus route (R5). Area around hotel is diverse and local with some good restaurants & take out options. "

"The hotel was excellent and the staff were very polite, helpful and welcoming but the area around it unfortunately is very run down which isn't the best welcome as you get off the train and walk into the town. It would be better if the city government made the entrance to town much more welcoming. "
