"Excellent small hotel with superb friendly and helpful staff, fantastic well maintained grounds and stunning view of Etna from the pool. Its clear they show pride in their hotel and this is reflected in everything about your stay. Would say a car is essential to het best of stay, although about 30 min walk to local train station which had good and regular connections to some of the local main tourist towns and airport. "

"Absolutely amazing, clean, spacious living space. The grounds have plenty of sitting areas. I love the hammocks. It is a short drive to some beautiful beaches, restaurants and shops. They also provide a shuttle service. Its a well maintained and managed property. We would go back. The city is moving closer to the little paradise. "

"Lovely place, lovely grounds, nice breakfast, very convenient for places like Taormina. The only slight issue we had was that we were looking forward to having dinner in their restaurant, where much of the food cooked would come from the farm itself, but they stop opening in the evenings from 20th October until April - we arrived 22nd October! Shame, and it would have been useful if this was advertised - they do still provide lunches at weekends though, in the off-season."

"Good value property and room spacious and clean. WiFi a bit intermittent. View of Etna from our balcony. Only downside is the location. Need to take a detour to get to the seafront and main restaurant area as limited option to cross the railway track. Usually took us 15-20 minutes"

"An excellent property. Stunning architecture & grounds. Truly family run. Very hospitable, welcoming & accommodating. We stayed for close proximity to Mr Etna & wineries. The food is farm to table - mostly made by ‘mama’. Gorgeous pool. Our only complaint is we should have booked longer. Many thanks to Sara & family. "

"Sehr schöne Unterkunft in einer tollen Parkanlage zwischen Weinreben, Zitronen/Olivenplantagen. Der Pool war sauber und sehr stylish. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. Man fühlt sich wie in einem alten Herrenhaus, sehr authentisch. Das Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse war ein Highlight mit Blick auf‘s Meer auf der einen Seite. Die andere Seite mit Blick auf den Ätna. Sehr gute Lage zu Ausflügen nach Taormina, Ätna und Syrakus."

"It was too many high steps to walk for elderly people. I am 78 and had a really hard time to walk there. My feet were swallowed. Better for young and athletic people."

"This hotel offers all the benefits of a private villa yet the perks of a five-star hotel. It will soon have a Relais et Chateau boutique rating we are sure! Its location near Taormina yet higher up in the mountains means that you are very near many of the must sees of Sicily and learn a lot about the unique geology and history of the area. "This property is ideal for a quiet break. the gardens and views are really remarkable. The area is so quiet. Its probably not so great with children as there are 200 steps to town or same to beach otherwise its taxis which cost a bit. Breakfast was great for the view, pehaps a little pricey for the content. "Great quiet spot on beach. A bit of walk to town but easier than trying to find parking and it’s a nice walk along ocean. We had a great room with huge windows looking towards ocean. The communication was not good. Had troubles finding the place and no responses to my inquiries The kitchen worked well "

"Personal friendly service from the staff at this hotel. Rooms are large, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast had a great selection of local foods. Interesting history of this hotel. "The staff at this hotel were very hospitable. They assisted with plans, dining reservations and provided parking service. Throughout our stay they called to check up on us and ask if everything was to our satisfaction. I felt sick during our stay and they even called to ask how I was feeling and if there was anything I needed. Overall excellent experience at this hotel."

Villa Belvedere Review

"I upgraded to one of the studios which was a new experience for me but I enjoyed the view, the privacy, and having access to a kitchenette where I could keep snacks and whatnot. Maybe because they were refurbishing, but I was disappointed that there wasn’t a restaurant or bar on site to get a quick breakfast. The staff were very friendly and very accommodating."
