Literally right on the Paso Wine Trail, we welcome you to notable, world class wineries just steps outside your front door. Downtown Paso Robles, with all its fabulous restaurants and shopping, is an easy 5-minute drive away. Head west and you will be watching waves at the coast in under 30 minutes. This impeccably appointed guest house attached to the main home offers serenity, privacy, and everything you need, whether your visit is a fun weekend road trip or a longer “home away from home” stay. Walnut hill is a 1200 square foot, 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath guest house with a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, spacious dining room and living room, washer and dryer, and expansive views of the neighboring vineyards. Both bedrooms (one king bed, one queen bed) have their own ensuite private bathrooms and walk-in closets. Find an additional charming powder room off the living room area for your convenience. Luxurious linens and towels are waiting to embrace you in comfort. The east-facing front porch and lawn are the perfect spots for warm morning coffee and shady afternoon drinks. Giant oaks, walnut trees, and olive trees line the property and create a playground for our resident squirrels, deer, and a variety of birds. A dedicated driveway takes you directly to the guest house and offers convenient, safe, private parking. Watch for the colorful barrel that marks the turnoff into the brand new, fully paved driveway! Great location and comfortable!!
We enjoyed our stay at this home. Morning coffee in the front yard looking out over the vineyards was the perfect way to start each day. It was nice having the 2 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. Lots of space to spread out too. Quiet and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a beautifully maintained, clean, well equipped home with spectacular views. It is located west of Hwy 101 which is near the wineries we wanted to visit. It's roomy, updated, quiet and has comfortable beds. Highly recommend!!

Great for a Relaxing Weekend
Walnut Hill was a great choice for a nice, relaxing weekend with a couple of girlfriends. With 2 bedrooms and multiple bathrooms, it was perfect for me and my friends. The property has a beautiful view and is less than a 10 minute drive from city center. If there was anything we wished would be addressed, it would be the driveway - it is very narrow. And when you get to the top of it, there is a tree somewhat in the center of the unpaved area that you may have to maneuver your vehicle around. Nonetheless, I would still recommend Walnut Hill for a little getaway.

Could use other comfy living room furniture! Also larger tv. Put that one in one of the bed rooms. Really should have windex, hard to clean counter tops without. Fridge needs a bulb also. New bed pillows would be nice. Otherwise the place is great. Love the electronic screen, all your starter items and all the snuggle blankets. I own two Vrbo’s in Monmouth Beach New Jersey. Nice thick soft towels were great also!

Four of us stayed in this amazing home for a Paso wine country vacay. The location is perfect for both wineries and downtown restaurants. The decor, comfort, and amenities make this rental one of the top rentals I have ever booked. The beds are very comfortable. Blackout curtains allow for sleeping in if needed. The owner has thought of everything to make the stay pleasant. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. The bathrooms were stocked with plush towels and toiletries. This unit is perfection and we will return.

This lovely home is well situated amongst the vineyards yet quite accessible to scenic downtown Paso Robles and main roads. The grounds and interior are modern and extremely well maintained. We enjoyed a wonderful two days here and would recommend it to anyone.

Walnut Hill was a comfortable house for two couples. Very quiet and peaceful. Excellent location for wineries on the West side of Paso. The host was very hospitable, leaving a bottle of wine and chocolates. Would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed the beautiful vineyard views from this property. The house was well appointed and clean. We had everything we needed to feel at home. The only complaint was the very squeaky bed in the smaller bedroom. Whenever there was movement in the bed, you could hear it in the next room. Otherwise, a perfect stay.

NICE LOCATION
The original drive by left us a little disappointed didn't realize the property was an add on to existing house. Don't go out the back door weeds and dirty, the bathroom in the first bedroom has NO covering over the small window yes you are exposed! The driveway has a low hanging branch if you're driving an SUV or Truck it will hit the top of your vehicle. So much for the bad! The rental inside was very neat clean and overall a very nice place to stay. It was centrally located just a few minutes to wineries and town. The VIEW was very nice and sitting in the front yard sipping wine was very relaxing! It will stay on our list of places to stay in Paso!

The property was great. Our group was two couples and there was plenty of room. The house was very clean and well equipped. It is in a perfect location - a couple of miles to town and a couple of miles to the wineries. The driveway issues of previous reviews has been resolved with it being paved. The only thing that I could recommend to the owners is some type of reflector on the highway so you can see the road to turn onto from the 46. It's pitch black at night and very hard to find. Not sure if they have the authority to do that. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Paso.
