Located in Templeton's prestigious Peterson Ranch westside neighborhood, this bright and airy studio has easy access to all of Paso Robles Wine Country's top wineries. Walk to Castoro Cellars, Peachy Canyon, Zenaida Cellars and J. Dusi. Just minutes from Turley Wine Cellars, Rotta, Venteux Vineyards, Niner, Gray Wolf and Sextant. Easy access to 46W and Highway 101.
SLEEPING ACCOMMODATIONS
The main sleeping area boasts a Farmhouse King size bed with a highly-rated, extremely comfortable Casper mattress. The sofa pulls out to a queen size bed with a mattress topper giving extra padding for sink-worthy comfort.
The bath has a huge, shower with handicapped access. You can easily roll a wheelchair right into the shower.
LIVING & ENTERTAINMENT
This 750sf studio is wide open. At one end is the large kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite counters, and a huge peninsula for prep with stools so you can hang out while cooking up your favorite meals. A dining table with seating for 4 is adjacent to the kitchen. The living room has a large L-shaped sofa with enough space to lounge comfortable while watching your favorite shows or movies on the 48" TV. The bedroom area is on the other side of a diving half wall with the large bath at the other end of the studio.
Outside there is cushioned lounge seating for 4 and a dining table with seating for 4. Entertaining and dining al fresco under the covered patio is perfect when cooking up steaks on the BBQ. There is also a hot tub for total relaxation.
PLEASE NOTE: The Frontier Hideaway studio unit can be rented as additional accommodations with the main house, the Frontier Farmhouse, AirBnB listing #32899011, that sleeps 14. It's perfect for the grandparents or the extra couples to be a part of the family reunion or group activities.
GUEST AMENITIES
We provide personal amenities like soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion, paper products, kitchen necessities like dishwashing detergent, dishwasher soap and trash bags. There are plenty of linens, bath towels and beach towels. Laundry facilities and detergent are in the laundry room. The kitchen is also stocked with plenty of stapes: olive oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, spices, and plenty of condiments. There is dinner service for 16 as well as plenty of serving necessities.
THE IMMEDIATE AREA
You could not be in a better, more central and convenient location to hit up some of Paso's most prestigious wineries on the famed Westside. You are just 3 minutes to downtown Templeton, 5 minutes to downtown Paso and 30 minutes to other Central Coast destinations: Cambria, Pismo Beach, and downtown San Luis Obispo. There is easy access to 101, which makes your day trips a breeze.
PROVISIONS
Trader Joe's is a mile and a half away along with J & R Meats which offers local grass-fed beefs and other meats. In the same shopping plaza is Pier 46, the area's top fish market and restaurant. In downtown Templeton you'll find Nature's Touch Nursery & Harvest, a fully-organic grocery store with provisions from local farmers. Larger grocery stores include Albertson's and Food For Less, both about 7 miles in either direction off the 101.
RESTAURANTS
For a small town, Templeton provides lots of eating out options. McPhee's is top on the list and perfect for that special occasion. Ian (McPhee) cooks up fantastic farm-to-table fare. Other local flavor includes AJ Spurs (Western flavor) and Nino's (wood-fired cooked burgers, salads and lots of TVs for viewing sports). Enjoy a glass of wine and an appetizer or cheese platter at 15 Degrees Wine Bar before or after dinner. To start your day, you can't go wrong with Joe's for an All-American breakfast or The Kitchenette for a bit more gourmet breakfast or lunch delicacies.
After you've exhausted the Templeton restaurants, the Paso restaurants are also outstanding. What's your pleasure: Italian, Irish, French, Mexican, Asian, Argentinean, Organic or Seafood? Paso has them all and more. There's even a new Speakeasy in town, called Eleven Twenty-Two. You're in wine and foodie heaven.
ACTIVITIES
You truly don't even need to leave the home with all the activities you can do there. But, there is so much to do and explore on the Central Coast. Of course there is wine tasting and wine events. But once the taste buds need a break, there are so many other activities near by. Golf anyone? Paso Robles Golf Course is a great course for the novice. The more serious golfer might try Hunter Ranch. There are dozen other courses around the area as well. While the guys are golfing there are plenty of spas for the ladies for a day of beauty treatments. Take in a concert at the Vina Robles Amphitheater. There is not a bad seat in the gorgeous 2500 seat music venue. For the more adventurous types, there are plenty of hiking trails and a zip line to amp up the adrenaline. If boating is your choice of relaxation...the Lake Nacimiento boat launch is just 35 minutes away.
Venture out to the local towns. Go antiquing in Cambria. Visit the Elephant Seals and Hearst Castle in San Simeon. Collect shells on Moonstone Beach. Drive an ATV on the beach at the Oceano Dunes. Check out the fantastic Farmers' Markets - Saturdays in downtown Templeton and Thursday nights in San Luis Obispo. Days of endless fun awaits you on the Central Coast.
