Jany House, built in 1920 and refurbished in 2013, is the perfect combination of classic, Craftsman-style living, downtown location, renewed beauty, and gracious living. Architecturally interesting and so comfortable, this, three-bedroom, home also provides lots of living space, so you and your friends, or family, can spread out and enjoy. Formal dining room, grand kitchen with a farmhouse sink and granite countertops, wood flooring throughout, charming outdoor spaces, Jany House has it all. Complete the picture with 2 spacious bedrooms each with luxurious king beds. The master has an in-room vanity, the en-suite with walk in shower. The sunny third bedroom features a comfortable queen bed. The hall bathroom features a shower & tub combination. You will find the trellised outdoor sitting area, garden fountain and raised patio invite you outside, as well. BBQ on the grill and sit under the grape vine arbor sipping your wine finds of the day! Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an enjoyable time at the Jany House for 3nights in November when we came to pick up our wine instead of shipping. Walkable to restaurants and shops in downtown Paso. House is 1920 so you have to appreciate the charm of an older home. It had everything you need for a few days with lots of games too if you just want to hang out with friends or family.

Perfect Get Away Stay
Just love the charm of this house and its sweet patio. Our party of 4 stayed for two nights and loved the house and its location. A quick walk to town and all the restaurants it has to offer, but just far enough from the hustle and bustle of the square that sipping wine on the patio is exceptionally peaceful. I highly recommend staying here and hope to return next year for another stay.

Perfect choice!
What a gorgeous historic home to spend our long awaited weekend in. Everything was as advertised and we were offered early check in if we wished. The home has been so artistically decorated and it was a joy to sit at the kitchen table and watch the hummingbirds zoom by. And the beds were the most comfortable I've had at a VRBO, and that is so important to my husband and myself! We will be back.

Fun Family Gathering
Enjoyed counting on the clocks is this nicely decorated historic house. Location was walking distance to town square and fun shopping and eight across the street from the best coffee in town. We would stay again.

The House with many doors
Our stay was enjoyable. The home is very charming. There was only two issues of note. The first was the parking. Street parking only so space not guaranteed (had to park a 1/2 block away a few times). The second was the exposed nail on the hardwood floor. I stepped on it causing some pain, but no skin broken (lucky for me). This really could have been bad.

great location
i was a little nervous about the "on street parking" but as it turned out the owners are very accommodating with parking cones and we found plenty of spaces for our 3 cars. the owners gave us good recommendations for places to eat within walking distance, and we had plenty of room for 6 people. The sisters slept on the trundle bed and the other 2 bedrooms were very roomy. Plenty of room to cook , dine and enjoy board games. Easy access to San Luis Obispo for graduation ceremonies

One block from the new Marketplace with a food court and music in the evenings. We frequented the coffee and bakery in the morning and the sandwich shop in the evening. We also brought food home to sit out on the sunny patio at the house. Favorite things about the house are the quiet neighborhood and walking distance to town square. We will stay here again!

A Comfortably Wonderful Home in Paso Robles
First, I must commend the property owner. She was very responsive when asked a texted question and has maintained a historically classic home to create a very comfortable residence to occupy while staying in Paso. The home is well appointed, and the kitchen has all the utensils that anyone would need to prepare meals at home. The house is about seven blocks from the town square if you like to walk. Though Via Caravaggio is just around the corner from the house on Spring and makes a great pizza to bring in! Beds were kings and were comfortable and there is one small on-suite bath in one bedroom and the guest bath will be used by the second bedroom. The environmental system (heat and A/C) works great but is quite loud at night. The house has two comfortable patios, one on the side of the house with a BBQ, and one in front of the house. If you are seeking a comfy house in Paso Robles, you cannot go wrong by reserving the Jany Historic Home in Paso Robles!

Jany House Paso Robles October stay
This is an older home which has been upgraded to bring it (mostly) up to modern standards. It is close to downtown and restaurants and close enough to the fairgrounds for us to walk to our horse show if we chose. The house is on a quiet dark street and parking is on the street. There is construction across the street that eliminated parking for one of the days we were there. The house has a granny flat which is separated by a locked gate. A circuit blew when we tried to plug in a heater and we had to reset the breaker. The breaker box is in the back of the house and the key box to unlock the gate didn't work. The occupant of the granny flat was helpful early in the morning to find and reset the breaker. The house has no central heat or air but fans and heaters are provided. The granny flat is behind the kitchen nook and those windows have no curtains. The kitchen nook is a nice little area to eat off the kitchen, but the light is VERY dim. The washer and dryer are here covered by a curtain but work great. Like many VRBO houses, every cupboard is filled. You could feed an army with the dishes provided, but there is no place to put your groceries. The countertops are full of "stuff". We moved most of it to the floor of the nook so we had a place to put our nonperishables. There is a coffeemaker, but no coffee was provided. So glad I had brought my own! There are clocks everywhere, but the only one that works is on the stove. There are two dining rooms and the only working TV is in the front of the house in the living room. If you are in the kitchen or nook you can't see or hear it. We only used 2 of the bedrooms and those beds were very comfortable. One bedroom had the bathroom sink in the bedroom part. There was plenty of closet space. The showers worked great. Bath gel, shampoo and conditioner were provided. The TV in the back bedroom only worked for movies and games. There were board games in the front dining room. The yard is a cute area that would be suitable for hanging out. We were busy with the horse show so never did. We had intended to bring our dogs but the fence around the yard didn't look very sturdy so we rented stalls for them at the horse show. The front door lock worked throughout our stay and the door code was a reasonable one. The neighbors had a football viewing party one night that was really loud and my daughter had to move into my bedroom for awhile. It was a nice house and we would stay again.
