"We didn't feel that this property was representative of the listing pictures. It was a lot more run down and stark in comparison. Perhaps because we got a ground floor unit. - The patio was unusable (no privacy and plastic table and chairs were covered in bird poop). - Grounds weren't well kep with grass long, not outdoor seating around the pool (which is much smaller than expected with limited hours). - Check in process was frustrating. - Unit had absolutely no supplies (no hand soap, no...

"These are typical French apartments, not particularly spacious, but nice and generally functional. It is a fair walk into town - a good 10 - 15 mins. Our apartment was next to the road which although not busy could mean that there was quite a lot of noise at certain times of the day. "it was a beautiful setting on the lake and surrounded by mountains. However, This was quite an unusual lodging. There was no reception and only my name on a board to tell me which apartment I was in. The room had a well stocked kitchen but had no bedding. This should have been made clear at the time of booking. As a result my stay was not particularly comfortable. I was also expected to clean the room before I left. Apartment La Mongie 1900 3 bedrooms 8 people.

"Super séjour à la Mongie avec une visite du pic du midi avec un temps exceptionnel . Le gîte était confortable pour 4 personnes bien équipé et propre juste une petite remarque vérifier que la bonde de la douche soit nettoyée. Heureusement que le monsieur qui s'occupe du logement était là à notre arrivée car je n'avais pas le numéro de l'appartement. À par ça parfait."

"Lady at the desk was very friendly and helpful. Dinner was very good. The room was very cold. Person working during breakfast was visiting with another person instead asking what we would like for breakfast. My husband actually had to go up to him with the coffee pot to get more coffee."

Dog friendly hotel with spectacular views

"We have stayed here several times as it is a perfect dog friendly hotel. We pay for a room with a patio which is great for the dogs. The area is ideal for walkers and the scenery is spectacular. The town of Torla is unique with beautiful buildings, well worth exploring."

Studio in La Mongie - Ideally located - At the foot of the slopes

Pretty Awful

"The impression on the initial entry into the building is ok but each step further in the building got worse and worse. We were there to watch the Tour de France so the location was excellent for that, but everything else was AWFUL. No sheets available on the filthy beds, no bath towels just 2 disgusting kitchen towels that were stained so badly it was hard to tell if they had been cleaned. Keep looking elsewhere because this place is not good."
