"We had a great stay at this villa in Marine St. Ambrogio with two small kids and a baby. Even though there is AC only upstairs, the sea breeze was lovely and cooling in the downstairs. The security fence around the pool gave us peace of mind with our 3 year old running around, and we and older kid enjoyed the short walk down to the waterside to play in the tidepools and snorkel. The pool is shared with the neighbors who are very nice. Alexandra the on-site hostess was very kind and helpful....

"Catherine has done a great job of putting together a very comfortable place to stay while in the north of Corsica. This is a beautiful and newly built and furnished duplex with its own pool and great privacy. Just a 10-minute drive up the hill from Calvi and close to many nice beaches (and vineyards) nearby. "We had a two week vacation in this beautiful villa overlooking the sea. It was well situated close to a butcher and pastry shop and within a short driving distance to grocery stores. "Clean apartment with kitchen and a barbecue. Two bathrooms and three bedrooms. We traveled two families together (9 people, five children 8-12 years old) and the place was perfect for us. It was a quiet area. A shadowy terrace were we could dine, the beautiful view of the sea, 10 minutes walk from Calvi...I recommend the place and would stay there again if I go back to Calvi. The owners speak only French, and are really nice and friendly."

"The house was perfect for a stay for 2 families. The beach is a 5 minute drive to Caspiu plage, where you can also drink flavourful Corsican beer, eat beautiful freshly made sorbets and have a fine dinner with view over the bay. "The hotel has a lot to offer. Our room was modern, quiet, spacious and clean with a comfortable bed and good sized bathroom with a beautiful view over to Calvi and the citadel. There is a lift to all floors and indoor pool. The buffet breakfast has a good range of cold food on offer, with the option to eat in or out on the terrace. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a free secure car park too which is great as it's worth taking trips into the mountains and along the coast. The outdoor pool is a little small with stepped and sloping sides which restricted the swim area which was a pity as the hotel is a fair walk to the beach- but it does have a pool which many hotels dont! The hotel is situated a 10min walk from the centre and the port with a couple of eateries on the way. Calvi is a original old Corsican town, a perfect place for eating, shopping and relaxing with beautiful scenery and beaches. We will be back again."
