There were some negatives: a lot of the crockery/cutlery needed re-washing when we arrived, the master bed wasn’t very comfortable and there is no soundproofing in the house whatsoever! "Its a typical asturian stone house. The main atraction for us was the location , a hamlet with no more than 10 houses surrounded by mountains all overooked by the Pico Peñamallera . The house is spotless clean with a great fireplace and all the amenities you need."

"Très bien située géographiquement entre mer et montagnes, cette belle maison traditionnelle est joliment décorée. Nombreuses salles de bain / WC et literie de grande qualité. Seuls bémols : la petite cuisine pour ceux qui aiment cuisiner à plusieurs en vacances et la route assez fréquentée en journée (mais la terrasse donne côté rivière !) "Spent eight days here exploring the charming coastal towns and towering Picos inland. This house is perfectly situated within walking distance of several coves and beaches but also a short drive away from the mountainous areas inland. Would really recommend a visit to the Sobrellano Palace and Gaudi architecture at Comillas as well as Ribadesella and Potes. Patricia was a perfect host always quick to reply to any questions we had. "Beautiful view from the terrace, as shown in the photos. We never met the host, because of our late arrival, but he did answer questions via text as needed. His tips about visiting the national park were very helpful. Try to arrive in daylight as the house is very hard to find in the dark! "
