"We had a wonderful family holiday at Finca Craig. One week towards the end of October 2024. 6 adults and children aged 7 and 4 years old and an infant 5 months. The house has great accommodation with a very well equipped kitchen. With the mixed ages having 2 bedrooms downstairs and 3 upstairs was ideal. Also a good sized heated swimming pool was perfect in the changeable weather. Lovely views over the village of Rotova to the hills. Short walk to the village which was very friendly but not touristy. Nearest town, Gandia, has a fantastic beach with free parking nearby. Many thanks to Menno and David who welcomed us on arrival, dealt with any queries very promptly and were excellent hosts. "Great outside space (two major terraces plus other smaller ones), the tech all worked (fast wifi, air conditioning, kitchen, BBQ) and an amazing pool. Very quiet location at the end of a road, and lovely views across the valley. Communication with the owner was easy, very friendly and efficient. You will need a car, several supermarkets 15 minutes away in Gandia, a bit further to the beach."

"Very clean, but you will need to supply basics like toilet paper, laundry detergent, hand soap etc. It may be that European VRBO properties do not include such items compared to US properties. Bed are ok - FD full bed in primary bedroom was comfortable but twin bed mattresses were not. Pillows are unusual - long and thin. Overall, a very nice stay. Be aware that the owners speak no English. I speak basic Spanish but I believe they speak a Valencian dialect, so when they meet you at the property and again at the end to return your deposit, you will need to use Siri or a translation app."

"Check-in was alright. Steps in the dark are very dangerous. There are 2 motion sensored lights that last maybe 5 seconds each. We didn’t use the pool because it was too cold. The house was very cold when we arrived and through the first night. We found out later that someone turned off the thermostat. The Internet didn’t work for 2 days. The host stayed in contact and we finally figured it out. Again… someone had reset it. The furniture in the living room is not the same as the pictures. Not comfortable. There is no washer even though the listing says there is one. We expected to wash clothes. The hot water disappeared for 5+ hours one day after my wife washed breakfast dishes by hand. The view is obstructed by a power line. When we checked out, it was raining and dark and the designated steps are staggered so you never know if you’ll slip and fall because the lights don’t stay on. My wife is disabled, but I am not. I still feared that I would fall all the way down. We had to go out the balcony steps. There is a whole level of house downstairs that we could not access. Maybe that is where the mysterious washer resides? The land is beautiful, but I would not book here again."
