"We only stayed for one night, the lodge was newly renovated, very beautiful, but the facilities were incomplete. The room was cold and no hairdryer, but the manager told me that they were working on it. The manager from India was excellent, so was the staff. She woke up early to bid farewell and helped me with luggage, which I appreciated. "

Every need was taken care of and flexibility in timings for meals was greatly appreciated. No shortcomings in services at all. "Lovely hotel just outside town and in a great location convenient for an early morning trip to Tigers Nest. Surrounding area is lovely. Beautiful mountains. Hotel has a very pretty garden to sit in and to relax after your climb to the monastery! Staff are charming. Room that we had was large, clean. Good bathroom and shower. Comfortable bed and pillows. Restaurant good. Local, Indian, Chinese food and French fries which were great. Would certainly recommend!! "

"The rooms in individual cottages are fairly comfortable and spacious. There are views of the green hills to be had from abundant windows but with other cottages around, you may have to keep the curtains drawn. The bathroom had heating arrangements too. The housekeeping staff are regular with cleaning and changing towels and tea bags daily. There is free Wi-fi available only in the lobby and dining area. The buffet spread is quite good and the proprietors were rather welcoming at the dinner...
