"Very neat and clean. A tad overpriced but convenient location. Saying that, Parkes isn’t a huge town Had to pay a deposit (a refundable bond against damages). I’m not sure that this is mentioned in the Hotels.com listing and I had to make a phone call to do this from an area with poor phone reception whilst on a driving trip. More annoyingly, 8 days later and the money has not been refunded even though I’ve received confirmation that it will be. "
