Great spot for a group ski vacation

Spacious home with a well-equipped kitchen and comfy common areas made this the perfect spot for a big group. Proximity to the free bus made access to ski hills and town easy and convenient.

Great, spacious home!

The house was perfect for a group of friends gathering in Park City for a long ski weekend. It was spacious and comfortable - extremely clean and the host was very responsive when we had questions about what was available for a kid under 2.

Ski trip with friends

Plenty of space for a large group of friends on a skit trip. Had to stagger showers a bit for hot water to accommodate everyone but everything about the place was great for our large group!

Snow Days

We received over 30" of new snow over the week. House was great and worked very well for our group. The snow removal crew showed up every night to make it easy for us to come and go. We'd stay at this house again....

Super simple communication for the check in process as well as using the amenities of the house; Wi-Fi, hot tub, garage, etc. this home is perfect to host larger groups as it gives enough space and privacy for couples.

We loved this property! Location is perfect. Each room has its own bathroom, plenty of central space for large groups. Great yard for playing in the snow. Loved the hot tub! Tony bent over backwards to help make sure that our stay in Park City was a total success!

Great place near deer valley

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Very comfortable. Rooms are spacious and the kitchens and bathrooms were clean. Location is great to deer valley and wifi was good enough for a couple people to do work. Only thing that could have improved our stay was the hot water, as it went out a couple of times when multiple people were showering. Somewhat to be expected.

Check in was a little worrisome as they gave directions to wrong address, but on call was super helpful. Received 2-3 ft of snow over 3 days and this house was perfect place to ring in the New Year. Ideal location for skiing deer valley. we would rent this property in the future if available. thank you!!

Great location

The property is beautiful and the location is 5 minutes from DV. The home is very comfortable with large bedrooms and strong showers. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with. We appreciated the late checkout so we could squeeze in another day of skiing and relax before our flight. The management company (Alpine) was not easy to work with. We have stayed at many VRBOs at various ski resorts, and a family fireplace room is one of our main criteria in choosing a home. After a cold day of skiing, warming up next to a fireplace is something we look forward to every trip and sharing our stories of the day while drinking hot coco. The fireplace did not work during our stay. When we arrived on our first day, we complained and was told someone would come the next day to fix it. This story repeated itself every day, and the fireplace was never fixed. Eventually, we were told that the fireplace has not been working for a while, definitely not working prior to our stay. We should have been informed prior to our stay of this, or at least be told the first day we complained. Instead, we had to call and manage this issue the entire time. It was suggested we use the small electric fireplace in one of the bedrooms. However, a couple was staying in that bedroom, and it did not make sense for the kids and other couples to gather in someone else's bedroom. Also, the previous guests' garbage and overflowing bins greeted us on our first day. It was smelly and not a good first impression. It took two days for the management to pick up the garbage. Lastly, we expected the kitchen to be better stocked. There was no sugar or coffee filters. Minor inconveniences, but it was the first time we have ever stayed at a vrbo where these basic kitchen supplies were not provided. Even a starter kit would have been appreciated. Our calls/texts to the management were also not returned in a timely manner. Overall, the location and room comfort were great. However, we were disappointed in the overall services/management of the property and would choose another property with better management. Deer Valley ski trips are very expensive, including the housing. For this price, we expected better service, especially after a long day of skiing when everyone is tired.

SOOOOO Disapointed!!!

We have stayed in VRBOs all over the country and Canada and base our review on a plethora of homes.By far, this rental rated the lowest of all of our rentals.First, the positives:OWNERS are very nice/responsive/accomodating.Home's floor plan comfortably accommodates a large group. Each room has an en suite-wonderful feature.Location to ski resorts/Park City is convenient.Neighborhood that the home is located in is beautiful. The hot tub is wonderful!Negatives: With exception of 2 issues (master tub/shower not draining and screaming central heater that kept us up for 3 nights.Tub/shower issue was corrected the next morning.Heater was corrected on the 4th day) the property management company was unresponsive.We reported that the bedspreads were so dusty that we were all stuffed up throughout the nights. We called the management company and were assured they would take care of it.They never did.We emailed to repeat our concern,no response. Including to the above,additional concerns: 1.The house was clean on the surface, but is in grave need of a deep cleaning; 2.Poorly equipt kitchen-outdated and minimal equipment: clearly cast offs( ie, 2 blenders that didn't function and odds and ends pans); 3.minimal provisions provisions ie.,1 roll of paper towels, 5 kitchen trash bags, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, no coffee filters, no baggies, no foil, 1 trash can left full with previous renters' garbage. 4.Balconies as per description were inaccessible due to accumulated frozen snow that were un-shovelled/maintained. 5.Barbecue(as advertised) were inaccessible due to snow/ice accumulation;6.Heating ventilation system including intake and out take registers need thorough cleaning; full of dirt/cobwebs;7.Upstairs master tub/shower is unsafe!!! Steep climb in and out. 8.Garage is in need of a thorough cleaning.8.TV in Living Room never worked. We asked for assistance,a technician came out and said the remote needed a new battery pack....but never returned with one so that we could use the TV without manual input; 9. Gas fireplace in living room is decorative only. No heat. We shared our concerns with the property management company at check-out. The response of the front desk: "Sorry about that." We asked for a return call from management to discuss the above concerns. A call has not been received to date. At this price point, we expected so much more. Either the above concerns need to be addressed or the price needs to be lowered.

Great location in Deer Valley

The property is located a very short distance from Deer Valley Ski Resort and close to downtown Park City. So, it is super conveniently located for skiing, film fest, summer hiking. The house easily accommodates 5 couples with 5 en suite bathrooms. There are bunk beds and extra sleep spaces in several bedrooms for kids. The kitchen was well stocked with spices, dishes, pots and pans, cookware. The huge outdoor hot tub was fabulous on cold, snowy nights! The large gas fireplace set the scene for putting together puzzles or watching movies. Just a note for future travelers, the main bedroom shower/bath area would be very challenging for a senior to use as it has a high wall to step over, however, there are several other bathrooms with walk-in showers. The living room/dining furniture and window blinds were a little worse for wear, and cleaning could have been more thorough, especially for the price. There were several maintenance issues when we arrived, however, the owner and property management team quickly took care of critical ones. Overall, these issues did not affect our stay and we would recommend this house for large family or multiple couples.

Awesome house for large group

This house was great for our large group of adults and kids ages 12-5. Nice that each bedroom has attached bath, the carpet in the bathroom was a bit odd but throwback to the 80s. Loved the location of the hot tub just one step from the sliding glass door. Plenty of room in the attached garage. A few things that could be addressed include the tv didn’t work, dishwasher was missing the bottom section organizer and some of the lights in bedrooms/bathrooms were out. Being 5 mins from Deer Valley was awesome. We would stay here again.

Excellent Ski Vacation Home

Our ski group of 10 had an excellent time staying at Tony’s place. 5 bedrooms are spacious, the house is very clean and cozy. The house is only 5 minutes away from Park City so it’s ideal for skiing or visiting the beautiful town, and then relaxing in the hot tub. 5/5 overall experience!

Great Property Great Location

This was a great property in a great location. The host Tony was great with communication. The only thing I would recommend is some upgrades in the technology. Most of the TV's did not work and most TV's were older which made it hard to stream.

We came with 8 people total in the group, I would definitely say the max occupancy of 14 would be extremely tight. Many of the lightbulbs were out, one of the showers didn’t work, and the place could desperately use some renovation…but it is great for group ski trips, etc in a lovely deer valley location.

Great family ski vacation

We had a wonderful stay at this Deer Valley home. The check-in process was not smooth, but after getting access to the house everything was simply corduroy! Be aware, check-in for the home is not until 4:00p and the property management office does not keep regular hours. (I.e. closes at/before 5:00p) Great house = Great Location!

Convenient but lacking

Upon arrival, one of the bathrooms had not been flushed and the seat was still up. The bedrooms only received a few channels and the livingroom TV cable went in and out on programming. The house was set at 80 on all thermostats and the fireplace would t turn off, requiring maintenance to keep us up until 11pm. The garage door opener didn’t work and the front key didn’t open the door without exertion ( thought the key was going to break off). Thank goodness we had a key code because the management property was closed and the phones went unanswered. One of the upstairs bedrooms was locked. When maintenance came against the second day for the fireplace we asked them to unlock the bedroom. That room was not even cleaned, this we were down one room. The GFCI was tripped in the kitchen which slipped us up the first morning when none of the kitchen appliances worked. Despite these hiccups, the overall stay was pleasant, just glad we didn’t need all off the rooms/bathrooms.
