Uncompromising Hotel Management
Upon receipt of booking confirmation I discovered that the reservation was made for Feb.4th instead of January 4th. I immediately telephoned Expedia on Dec. 24 and spoke with Tracy about the error. She tried to call the hotel but due to the holiday season she was not able to reach anyone. She told me that she will pass the information to her supervisor for follow up. Later in the day, I did receive a confirmation call that the date had been changed to January 4th. When I arrived at Residhome Roissy Village, late 1 am on Jan.4, I was told that I did not have a reservation. I told him about the correction of the date, than he found my booking of the Feb. 4th and told me that he had not received any correction of the date. He told me that the only thing he could do was to provide me with a room against payment which I had no other choice but to accept his offer. The room was five minutes walk to a different building which I had to drug my luggage their without any help. I would never stay at this facility again. As a regular customer of Expedia, the least I expect is a refund of the charge made to my account.
