Warm apartment restored in March 2012, on the last floor with elevator, benefiting from all the necessary comfort. It is close to all shops and main tourist places where the nearest are : Centre Pompidou (100m), Notre-Dame (300m), Louvre (500m), Le marais (50m), Orsay (800m), the Seine (100m), Hotel de Ville (100m), Quartier latin (400m).
Close to the station Chatelet, it allows to join quickly and directly all the Parisian railroad stations within 10 min and the Roissy airport and Orly within 30 min.
The powner also present in the building will welcome you warmly and are available to indicate you the main places of interest of the city.

We squeezed 4 adults into the apartment. Beds were comfortable, shower great, we had everything we needed. The location was perfect. Right in the middle of shops restaurants and groceries. Arriving via train from airport just a couple of blocks from the apartment. Hosts communication was great. I would encourage anyone to choose this home.

Amazing Location
The apartment is quaint and comfortable. The bed in the bedroom was comfortable and our teen boys were happy with the pull out bed. Our favorite part was the location. There was a grocery and food and cafes within feet of the apartment. We had a great time and would come back again.

It is Centrally located which makes it easy to go to all of the must see attractions in Paris :). Easy walk outside and just pick a place and enjoy the food no really bad choices. Perfect!

We were pleasantly surprised at how quiet and equipped the property was and that it was so centrally located near both local attractions/landmarks and major transportation. There are many great restaurants and shops just outside your door and the host was helpful with giving us tips and tricks to get the most out of our trip. Would highly recommend. Loved this apartment and its location!
My husband and I took our college-aged daughter to Paris for spring break, and this apartment was perfect for us! Lovely decor, nice kitchen appliances, comfy bed and sofa, and even an elevator in the building, which is hard to find. We also really liked the neighborhood. The metro is very accessible and there are lots of restaurants, bars, and shops nearby, yet we didn’t have any issues at all with noise. Plus we felt totally safe walking around, even at night. The host, Sébastien, was really kind and communication with him was great. We really can’t thank him enough for helping to make us feel at home during our week in Paris! I would highly recommend this property.

Excellent Accomodation Highly Recommend
This is a well-appointed, comfortable apartment in the heart of Paris with all of the amenities you would need in Parisian hideaway -- induction cooktop, refrigerator, dishwasher and washing machine (with retractable drying line over bathtub), TV with an English news channel & wifi. Exposed woodbeam ceiling and stone walls give it cozy country feel with skylights to let in plenty of natural light. Fantastic location near public transportation, short walking distance to many attractions, many nearby streets are pedestrian-only, with cute neighborhood restaurants, cafes, grocery store within a block or two. A very quiet building. Sebastien is a very attentive and pleasant host -- close by but not intrusive. Could not ask for more. We had a lovely stay and highly recommend. Hope to stay there again.

Great Location!
Sebastien, our host, could not have been nicer. He and his wife were very kind to give us some juice when we arrived after the long journey from the U.S. He was very responsive during our almost one-week stay addressing any questions that came up. Unfortunately, Paris was having a heat spell (the worst in 70 years!). I was disappointed to learn that it was recommended not to leave the windows open at night as varmints might come in. The heat was stifling with no air conditioning--although I understand that is common in France. There was one fan, but two would have been better as we were using both rooms. The apartment is very close to the Hotel de Ville metro (and other stations as well) which made transportation around Paris very convenient. The kindness of the hosts trumped any objections that may have arisen. The apartment was small and compact as one would expect in Paris.

Perfect little space
We had a lovely stay in this apartment. The owners are next door and we’re very responsive to my questions. We stayed for almost two weeks so we needed to know a few extra things like trash disposal. We really appreciated the washer and there is a line to dry over the shower. The sofa bed was actually comfortable and you could easily sleep two adults on it. The main bed was very comfortable and large, unlike many European doubles. The apartment was very quiet as the street the window opens to is a quiet side street. The location can’t really be beat. So close to many main metro stops and walking distance to so many great things. The bakery a few doors down was great. We will return. Merci to this lovely family.

Perfection in every way
Ideally located, this well equipped apartment has everything a traveler needs, including a washing machine and excellent nespresso maker. The host, Sebastien, was really kind and helpful to us, even anticipating a few challenges we had. The bed was super comfortable. WiFi was spot on. Bonus was the lovely view from our skylight, revealing views of the Hotel de Ville, Notre Dame and the Pantheon. World class bakery up the street, Marnay. Elevator worked fine, and you have just a few extra steps to the pent house level. A very good value. We will be back for sure.

Very Pleasant Stay
We enjoyed our 3 night stay at this property. Sebastien and his wife were very , allowing us to enter the property early which we requested . The apartment is small,but it is fine for two people. iit is very clean and comfortably furnished . The bed was one of the best that we have seen in a VRBO rental over more than 15 years. The location is excellent in an active area close to Le Marais. No hesitation in recommending this property for a fun visit to the City of Lights.

Amazing Stay - Will Come Again
My fiance and I came to Paris for a quick trip after our engagement loved our stay in this apartment. The unit is in an amazing location, very clean, has modern appliances, and has beautiful views - the stay was exactly what we were looking for. The neighborhood was very lively surrounded by shops, restaurants, bars, and anything you may need - plus it is in walking distance to many of the city's major attractions. Sebastien was an excellent host, communicating before we arrived to ensure a smooth check-in. When we arrived, he gave us a tour of the apartment and presented us with materials about the neighborhood and restaurants to try (which we used - FYI - Benoit is an amazing restaurant in the same building on street level - I highly recommend - reservations required), he even gifted us a bottle of champagne to celebrate our engagement. Sebastien was very communicative whenever I had questions about the apartment or the city during our stay, and was very prompt during check out. The apartment was exactly as advertised and we will be staying there again for our next vacation to Paris. If you plan to stay at this apartment, I have 2 items of note: 1) the window to the bedroom does not have a curtain, so it is very bright in the morning - I suggest either using an eye mask, or bringing something to hang over the window. 2) Because the neighborhood is very lively, it can be a bit noisy at night or in the morning - I recommend bringing ear plugs if you are light sleeper. Overall - this apartment is amazing and I recommend to any couple visiting Paris!

Our Comfortable Paris Home
After reading the reviews, we booked the apartment for 9 nights and we were so glad we did. Sébastien sent us excellent directions and we had no trouble locating the apartment. Despite his broken leg, he met us at the door, explained the appliances, wifi, left us with information and guidebooks ( in French, but the photos were the same), and gave us his contact information. During our stay we bought our daily baguettes and pastries at the boulangerie just around the corner. There is a small convenience store beside it, and prices were just a bit more expensive than Monoprix. The square, which bustles with cafés and brasseries, is a great spot for a drink or a meal, watching the world go by. It is a comfortable walk to Le Marais, Les Halles, Musée d’Orsay and many other places that interested us. Before we left, we mentioned to Sébastien that the addition of a flat top sheet for the bed would be a comfortable alternative to the duvet on warm nights. We enjoyed our Parisian home and would not hesitate to stay there again when we next visit Paris. Merci, Sébastien.

Perfect Paris Stay
Do not pass on this apartment. We have rented 8-10 apartments in Paris over the years, and this experience was the most satisfying. If I could give it 6 stars, I would. Extremely clean and recently updated, all appliances, kitchen area, bath and toilet rooms, etc. are modern and very well incorporated into the charm of the preserved stonework and wonderful wooden beams of the original structure. Visitors from the US or elsewhere accustomed to a 'stand-up' shower have exactly that, but also the option of European style hand-held, in a full bath. The owners have made great use of the space, and we were extremely comfortable. Certainly plenty of room for a couple or even two, and we would have loved to had a chance to stay here with our kids when they were younger - the pullout couch in the living area provides a lot of flexibility. Excellent location for novice or experienced visitors to Paris, and a quiet 6th floor location with elevator access to 5th floor and simple one flight up a classic, curved staircase. My wife was even thrilled with the quality of the hair dryer. Area amenities are complete: a high-quality boulangerie steps away, as well as a market for all other needs. Many cafes/restaurants also directly in the neighborhood. Most important - the owners of this apartment are exactly what you'd hope for: quite genuine, highly responsive, and really charming people. Sebastien and his wife and young daughter (all of whom we met -so nice!) live in the building and are available immediately if needed. Which, in our case they were, as one of us became very ill and Sebastien was at the ready to help us as needed. I sensed Sebastien was proud of the renovations he has done and the overall rental experience he can provide, and he should be - he has covered all the priorities we have as renters. You should jump on this if available, just as we will the next time we visit Paris.

Excellent location, in a central area of Paris
Nice little apartment in oldest area of Paris. Great location for exploring the city. Apartment is small as usual on an older area of a European city. An extra flight of stairs after the top floor of the elevator which may be an issue for the mobility challenged. Friendly and helpful hosts.
