Absolutely Charming Studio In The Middle Of Paris
Stayed at the studio in the Bastille area of Paris for my first trip to France with my boyfriend. Was absolutely charming! Great view of all of Paris from the balcony with an awesome view of the Eiffel Tower every night. Small kitchen but capable enough to whip up a 3 course meal... convenient and close to shops and the trains into the heart of Paris! No complaints! Will stay again!

Stunning view of Eiffel Tower & Sacre Coeur. Bed was quite comfortable & it was great to have a bath after walking all day! Complex had lovely courtyard and was secure. Host answered all questions promptly, even though she was out of town.

Perfection
The studio on Rue de La Roquette was exactly as described. The view from the balcony on the 9th floor of this secure building was breathtaking. If you like to walk- Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Marais are within your grasp. Restaurants, bakeries, a convenience store within a couple of steps! Loved this fully equipped studio. Dominique and Valerie were easily accessible to answer any questions. There is no doubt we will return to this “our home in Paris”. Many thanks!

Wonderful stay in a great neighborhood with fantastic view
My mother and I really enjoyed our stay here. Being able to see the Eiffel Tower from the lovely balcony or even sitting in bed was an experience to remember. The neighborhood was fabulous with multiple Metro lines in easy walking distance and many shops close by that we visited frequently, including the boulangerie and the creperie. The only issues that we had was the lack of a shower as we weren't fond of baths but that is information in the listing so that's on us for not seeing it. The other issue was that the bathroom had a strong musty smell (possibly mold?) that was a bit distracting. But overall, we had a great visit.

Wonderful!
Great studio; bright and spacious with a terrace and a stunning view of Paris! Everything you need for an extended stay. Very secure and quiet! Great location with a short access to several grocery stores, bakeries and metro stations! Dominique is a gracious host, she made sure I was comfortable by contacting me! Awesome view
A beautiful view of Paris landmarks from a large terrace brought us back for a second year. The apartment is attractive, romantic, and perfect for two people. A large Monoprix grocery is 5 to 10 minutes walk away, there are two convenient metro stations, and the area is full of cafes. We cooked all our meals in the efficient kitchen nook, using the two burner cooktop, microwave, and excellent coffee maker.

Excellent... couldn't be better !
Top floor apartment with SW aspect: clear views of Eiffel, Notre Dame, Republic... everything ! Private, secure unit, set-back from street, so quiet at nite. Soft bed, quality linens: slept like the dead! Great big balcony: sip a wine, have dinner, while watching Eiffel twinkle ! Close to Metro, many cafes, Supermarket at front gate... perfect. Verry comfortable, homey feeling, fully equipped, nothing to add. Totally enjoyed our 3 weeks stay... did Paris properly ! 10/10 5 Stars Merci' Dominique

Perfectly Met our Needs
We absolutely loved this flat. It has wonderful security, and we felt very safe. The washing machine came in very handy, since the airline lost our luggage for several days. The view is amazing, and the location was fantastic! We didn’t stay in the flat during the day much, so we just kept the pull out sofa, which was quite comfortable, as a bed for our stay. Valerie and Dominique were wonderful with their communication. We plan to use this flat again one day.

Stunning View
This was an amazing location for our stay in Paris. The pictures do not do it justice - you get a perfect skyline view of the city! It's in a quiet neighborhood and within walking distance from everything you need, including metro stations. The bathroom could be a little cleaner and a few things could be updated (bathtub, etc) but the location was perfect, the pull-out bed was comfortable, the views were amazing, and we would definitely stay here again!

This place was amazing. Dominique was so accommodating and kind. The apartment was clean and very comfortable in a great neighborhood. But most importantly, the VIEW! You are able to see both the Eiffel Tower and Sacre Coeur from the flat. There is even a beautiful balcony where you can watch the Eiffel Tower sparkle at night. 100% recommend!

Magnifique!
SO much to say! Lovely, cozy apartment, quaint, loaded with all the proper amenities, WITH a lovely bath tub. Beautiful view of Paris skyline with the Eifel tower and Sacre Coeur in the distance. Building was secure with a key pass with lovely, friendly dwellers we greeted as well. The Bastille Metro stop was only a good 5-8 minute walk down Rue de la Roquette to the left exiting the apartment complex. Did I forget to mention, the friendliest dogs anywhere??. Not to mention, the closeness of the market (downstairs and to the right?), shops, stores, eat and drink bistros and the boulangeries a stone's throw away. Fresh baguettes, croissants and mellow espressos and coffees are everywhere. PLUS, every Sunday the largest open air market in Paris just waiting for you, a 10 minute walk away just off the Bastille Square. Well worth the money! Our host Dominique and her friend Anatole made us feel like welcome family!!!!

Attractively furnished, comfortable sofa bed, well designed and functional. Loved the bookcase lined study/work area. Efficient kitchen and nice dining area. Views from the apartment and balcony are stunning. We spent much of our stay admiring the view of Notre Dame, Eiffel tower, Sacre Coeur,etc. We do think the apartment would benefit from a small convection oven. .Location was convenient to metros and grocery stores. Breathtaking view!
The apartment was small but roomy and completely efficient. I had everything I needed! The grounds at the apartment are beautiful with flowers everywhere! Communication was great with both Valéry and Dominique. They were concerned about my luggage not having arrived and texted me about it. I loved the location; there are restaurants, stores, everything your heart desires within a two minute walk! The grocery store downstairs with freshly squeezed orange juice was a real plus! But besides the great location and the efficient apartment, the view is what I most loved! Watching the Eiffel Tower « twinkle » every night while lying in bed was something I’ll remember forever! What an incredible 9 days in Paris!!!

Great VRBO

Amazing balcony, fun location
We stayed at this cute apartment for 1 week as our honeymoon and had the best time. Dominique was very responsive and helpful with the check-in process. The location is in a trendy part of town with multiple nearby metros, and close to busy areas but cloistered away so we had a lovely retreat when we wanted it. The apartment is small but had everything we needed, and the balcony is amazing, especially at sunset.

Excellent property, excellent location, wonderful service and communication with the property owner's and managers. Our stay in paris was wonderful made even better by how well furnished this room was and it's proximity to everything. Fresh baked bread 50 feet from the entrance to the building. Butcher shops, Fresh fish, cafees, etc, all withing a few minutes walk. Thank You for contributing to a most wonderful and romantic time in Paris.

We so much enjoyed our week stay. We felt at home in the apartment. Close to 2 metro lines. Great shopping for meals. We ate breakfast with fresh rolls and bread from across the street and fruit from next door. The bed was comfortable. Lots of nearby restaurants. Good communication with manager. We would definitely stay at the apartment during our next trip to Paris. Very clean and quiet even with the doors open. Highly recommend!

If you've never been to Paris this apartment is a brilliant place to stay. The view from the balcony starts off your city sightseeing adventure and with three metro stations within a short walking distance, and a bus stop at the door, it is unbelievably easy and quick to get yourselves around to see the city's icons. The local area around Dominique's apartment has everything you need - cafes, restaurants, groceries, bakeries, butchers, fresh produce stalls, pharmacy. The apartment works really well. It is secure, cosy and peaceful. The small kitchen works well for coffee breaks and for making easy meals when you just don't feel like eating out again. The bed is comfy and easily converts into seating for the daytime. We were desperate to get some clothes washed by the time we arrived and thankfully the apartment has a washing machine and a drying rack. The building has some kind of dehumidifying system which means the bathroom stays dry and clothes dry overnight. Its brilliant! If you're used to showering only then you'll need to adapt to sitting in the bath with a hand held shower hose. I found it easy to adapt to but it may be more difficult for some. All in all this apartment is a great place for kiwis to get-away and see the great city of Paris. Highly recommend. Perfect !
This apartment was just perfect for our week in Paris. It was just as advertised on Homeaway, clean, neat and comfy. The view was spectacular of the Eiffel Tower, Bastile, Sacre Coeur and more. Bed was comfy. The little kitchen was perfect for cooking a simple meal. The neighborhood was filled with cafes , food stores, boutiques. The bus 69 is just outside with direct routes to most of the sites. Check in was easy and simple with great info on the apartment and area. Thanks Valarie for that ! We would highly recommend!

Live like a Parisian.
Dominique's studio apartment was situated in a great area for bars,restaurants and great local shops.Our view over Paris skyline was amazing with Eiffel Tower to the left and to the right the beautiful Pere La Chaise cemetery. The property could do with a bit of repainting and a proper shower in bathroom.A very safe and secure accommodation. Great for short stay. Only other comment would be we couldn't get TV/DVD player to work.
