Parsonage of Paris in the heart of Horse Country - 15 min from Lexington, KY

Enjoy your stay in a newly renovated 1870's Parsonage that is a freestanding building. The rental is the ENTIRE building. First floor foyer. living room, large screen TV, large dining room. half bathroom, and full kitchen. All bedrooms are upstairs - Master Bedroom with King bed, second suite with Queen bed and common living room with kitchenette/wetbar. Enjoy a soak in the refinished clawfoot tub in the bathroom, after enjoying a relaxing meal at one of our local restaurants. Please see pictures for stairwell required to reach the bedrooms. There is no elevator.

Common area and Master suite decor in Neutral colors. The Master suite has an adjustable king size bed. The second bedroom contains an adjustable queen bed and color scheme inspired by Peacocks. Our bathroom is very small, contains a clawfoot tub for soaking, very charming and completely renovated with marble flooring.
We own the grassy corner lot beside our building should you bring a fur baby - and we encourage you to use it for pottying any pets.

Other things to note
Reminder that parking is diagonal to our property (we do not have onsite parking yet) and the bedrooms requires ascending stairs.

We are located approximately 15 minutes from Lexington and the KY Horse Park. We are adjacent to the upcoming Secretariat Park and 3 minutes from Claiborne farm.

A night in Paris
Traveling with our dog from Wisconsin to Virginia. Paris was midpoint and The Parsonage was perfect. Quiet and clean with all of the amenities one could hope for. A beautiful old house with plenty of space and charm. Wish we could have extended our visit.

Nice fall stay in horse country
We arrived at the house close to sunset and got to experience all the beautiful natural light it had to offer on the first and second floors. We brought our two dogs with us and found they too had some special pampering awaiting for them (dog biscuits). We were glad for the option to use the side yard to walk our dogs early and late at night. We stayed for a single night.

Beautiful Stay
We came up to visit our daughter for the weekend and found this wonderful historic house. The house was superbly decorated and very comfortable stay. We loved the history of the place as the owners described in their welcome packet. Definitely one we will plan to visit again.

A Respite in History
This home was the perfect balance of historic beauty and modern conveniences. The windows, stairs, moldings, pocket doors, floors, and cubbies were all original with all of that historic character. Smart tvs, A/C and appliances offered conveniences. The host had helpful notes throughout about how to best enjoy the home. Best of all was the before and after book with descriptions of work that had been done. The host was also very helpful with a pre-booking question that made our stay perfect. Parking at the bank was no problem, despite all of their signage. We would highly recommend the Parsonage when in the area!

Lovely Accommodations!
We rented this property mainly for a family friend to have a place to stay while they were visiting us. It is a very nice property in a convenient location to main street. The rooms are well appointed and our friend reported that the bedroom was lovely and that the bed was most comfortable. The property owner was a pleasure to work with and highly communicative. 10/10, would recommend.

Much better than a hotel!!
Loved this little town, locals were all friendly. We walked to a cafe every morning for breakfast. The place was perfect for our needs. Was in town for a Memorial Service. My brother and I shared the place and each had our own space. Bathroom was a little small, so don’t expect to get ready in there, just shower and come back to your room to get ready. Place has extra toiletries if you forgot anything. Beds and pillows were super comfy!!! Parking is across the street at a bank, which says they will tow your car. However, I can vouch I parked there and my car was not towed!!!! So yay!!! Would definitely stay here again!!!

Charming Stay Close to Lexington
What a beautiful place to stay this is! Stacy is a friendly and thoughtful hostess! She has done such a beautiful job with the parsonage! It is charming and old, with modern touches and conveniences. Paris is a pretty quiet town, and has a couple nice little cafes within walking distance for breakfast! We were visiting Lexington and didn’t mind the short drive a bit because it was so beautiful, going right through horse country! We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you, Stacy, for providing such welcoming and warm accommodations! 🌸
