Visiting Paris 2024 we were thoroughly satisfied with Motel One as our stay. Both experienced travelers, we liked the location (near a big park and metro), ease of parking, the wonderful breakfast. Also, the room was clean with very good beds and a good shower. The staff was very friendly. All in all a very good experience.

I truly enjoyed my stay. This was my first time in Paris and the staff were absolutely amazing. Not only were they warm and welcoming, but they were truly helpful. I was able to book excursions at a much cheaper rate thanks to their help. Adae (I pray I spelled her name correctly) went above and beyond and I truly appreciated that. I definitely would recommend this property.

Great boutique hotel in Paris
Cute boutique hotel. A well located hotel in Paris, 10mins drive from the Gare de Lyon (train station) and 30mins drive to the Airport (CDG). The hotel did not look too much from the outside, but the inside is definitely a boutique hotel, well decorated with a large reception/bar/salon area when you walk in that is a delight. Bedroom was ok in size and had everything you need, large shower and comfy bed.

Excellent, budget-friendly place to stay when visiting Paris. The hotel is situated in the outer regions of the city center, but in a very nice and quiet area and very close to public transportation (metro is within walking distance and takes you to most highlights in 20-30 minutes). The hotel is especially convenient for those travelling by car, with the hotel being very easy to reach (it is situated right next to an exit of the 'Périphérique' highway) and with parking space being available underneath the hotel. The rooms are very clean and modern. Staff is nice and friendly.

The hotel had a modern boutique style with a very unique style lobby decor. Rooms were nice but small, very clean and modern but lacked a phone or fridge. Front staff were very helpful with our luggage, as we arrived early, and with assistance with using the underground metro and how to see all the wonderful sights around Paris. Location of hotel was nice as a beautiful park was located across the street as well as the zoo and an aquarium. Several places to eat located close by and the metro station was only a couple of streets away. Breakfast was also nice each morning for a modest price. We would definitely stay at a Motel One again.

Nicht die gewohnte Qualität von Motel One
Check-in war langwierig und mühsam und dauerte ca. 20 Minuten. Unüblich fanden wir, dass von allen Reisenden (auch von jugendlichen Kindern) Telefonnummern und Emailadressen abgefragt wurden. Das schien mir datenschutzrechtlich nicht in Ordnung, aber die Dame bestand darauf. Nachdem wir das endlich erledigt hatten, bekamen wir leider Zimmer, die NICHT der gebuchten Kategorie entsprachen. Wir hatten jeweils Zimmer mit King Bed gebucht, beim Check-in extra nachgefragt, ob das auch so klappt und eine Bestätigung bekommen. Unsere Verwunderung war groß, als wir nur Queen Beds vorfanden. Die Konstruktion des Spiegels war auch etwas merkwürdig. Genau in der Höhe des Gesichts verlief ein schwarzer Balken (für Kleiderbügel). Das Wasser im Waschbecken wurde nicht warm, dies scheint aus Energiespargründen so eingestellt zu sein. Unser Zimmer war außerdem nahe einer Entlüftung. Morgens ab 07:30 war der Essensgeruch extrem stark und unangenehm. Das Frühstück war ok, aber in einer sehr lauten Atmosphäre. Die Aufzüge haben leider keinen Auf- und Ab-Rufknopf, sodass man meistens zuerst in die falsche Richtung fährt, bevor man nach einigen Stopps im gewünschten Stockwerk ankommt. Lage ist etwas außerhalb des Zentrums, aber das weiß man im Vorhinein. Man muss bedenken, dass es nur ein 3-Stern-Hotel ist (mit einem ansprechenden Design) ist. Wir würden es aufgrund der vielen Ärgernisse und der Unfreundlichkeit des Personals nicht wieder buchen.
