Not a good hotel for summer stay. Mobile aircondition unit and need to keep the windows open to eject the hot air from the unit.

Charming Parisian hotel near attractions
Very charming hotel on the 3rd floor of a beautiful building very close to Tuileries gardens, Louvre, and Concorde metro stop. Price was good, too.

Shabby chic without the chic
Central location which we appreciated. Needed to have window open to use air conditioning .. Then too noisy to sleep.Would have loved a small kettle.

Excellent Location Affordable
When I got there the elevator was not working and as the hotel is on the 4th floor this was a problem especially as I am partially disabled. The hotel however fixed it within a few hours and included a daily breakfast as compensation which I thought was very fair You do have to get your luggage from the street in and out of the hotel generally unassisted although given my disability one of the maids helped me. My room was small but comfortable and well equipped except that the tv had no English speaking channels. At a time when world politics is as volatile as it was when I was there, not being able to understand the news was very upsetting.

Inexpensive and near 2 museums we wanted to see.
The people were nice, breakfast was good and adequate and nice to have. Room very small and only 1 straight chair to sit on. Bed very low to floor. Floor sagged and dipped and gave way as you walked about the room. I felt the carpet was what was holding me up. No A/C. Windows opened and provided a nice breeze. Breakfast was great. They recommended the restaurant across the way which was exorbitantly priced- (7.9 euro for a bottle of water!) and not good. Roast chicken so dry as to be inedible. We spent over 70 euro for dinner that was not very good for two people. There is NOTHING in that area. You have to walk much farther away to find some little restaurants. it's not really a good place to stay. They do have a frig in the room which was helpful. The price and location were good and we went for it, but I would not stay there again. They did arrange a taxi for me when I left- which I found out later cost more than twice what it should have. <sigh> Live and learn.

This hotel is nasty
Really old fashioned and not clean. Not enough pillows. Only hand towels and not changed. Not enough shower gel or toilet paper. We had to buy our own. Cramped room, dirty, ripped curtains and cobwebs at windows, ceiling and walls. Stinking toilet. Safety deposit box tiny and unsecure. Really old fashioned potable air conditioner taking up a lot of room. Had to keep clothes in suitcases. Old fashioned lift that only takes one person at a time.

Excellent hotel for short business or personal trip to Paris
Simple, clean, pleasant hotel with quiet rooms and equally quiet clients who seemed to be mainly business people like me and in an excellent location. Perfect for a short business or personal trip.

Boutique hotel in Central paris
This hotel is very small and hidden away behind a door in Rue do Cambon. It is excellently situated to explore all the sights of Paris on foot but also the metro station is very close. The lift is tiny and only suitable for two people. The Hotel is on the third floor if the building so be prepared for stairs. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable if a little basic but present excellent value for money. The staff were helpful and the breakfast adequate. It was quiet too . No one answers telephone almostly.
I tried to call phone calls several times to this hotel, but no one answered. Probably there're some hours without any hotel staff near the telephone. The refrigerator and room-telephone are out of order, and there isn't cap at the drain of the bath tub. But the breakfast is good with cheese, ham, yogurt and dessert.

Budget accommodation, top notch location
Don't book here expecting lavish surroundings....it has great character, the staff are amazing, the location great, BUT the room was basic, to say the least. Only in Paris could you pay over the top for electric sockets hanging off the wall, mouldy bathroom tiles & grubby walls! I can't even compare it to a UK travelodge because I've stayed in those in central London & had more upmarket accommodation for my money, (less of my money, actually!). Having said that, the positives were huge - easy walk to the Louvre & over the road from the musée de l'Orangerie, plus just round the corner from the place de Concorde. Lots of bars & cafes in the area & quick access to le metro. The staff were very helpful, polite & friendly.

Great Location to stay during fashion week. So close to so many of the Parisian must see's! As far as Paris central budget goes it was a on par and included breaky so all good.

Great location! Comfortable enough.
Hotel is in a great location! Great access to the Metro, Louve, and shopping. Breakfast included in the price was very adequate. Condition of the room is old and run down, but we had a good amount of room for 3 people to move around. Bed and bath were clean. Elevator was old and touchy. Not much to do in this area, and very limited restaurant options at night. Flottes restaurant across the street was good. Staff fun, and open late.

A budget accommodation close to the Louvre & Musee de Orsay. A grocery store around the corner 400 metre +- (if you know where to go). Reasonably quiet. A small lift that gets the job done. Nice breakfast - basic but nice. I needed a taxi driver to find it, but walked about 500 meters to a bus that goes directly to the airport (€10, Vs taxi €65). Nice staff, very helpful. Safe and secure. If you are looking to save € or $ and are looking for a central, safe, crash pad for your luggage during the day and a place to put your head comfortably at night - this is it, but as always, you get what you pay for. Don't go expecting ***** but wanting to pay ***. Especially in Paris, this just doesn't happen. I have stayed in smaller rooms in Paris for a lot more.

Apres un accueil en étage, (en attendant que le réceptionniste revienne de ses courses) le séjour à été sans plus, notable. Chambre peu attrayante, literie moyenne…. En quittant j’ai réglé la taxe de séjour en liquide (pour 1,65€ la carte était superflue) sans facture, le relevé d’hotel.com faisant foi. En vérifiant mon décompte bancaire je m’aperçois que j’ai été débité du montant de la chambre ET de la taxe de séjour alors qu'il était bien précisé sur le relevé que la taxe était à acquitter sur place. Ce n’est pas pour la somme mais ce n’est pas une pratique acceptable pour un professionnel, sauf bien sur, si cela est une erreur qui me sera régularisée rapidement.

A déconseiller fortement
Chasse d'eau fermée car HS TV allumée sur gulli car télécommande HS (je dois la débrancher pour l’arrêter!) wifi d'une lenteur bas débit réveille aux klaxons de rue (vitrage de chambres non insonorisé) Petit déjeuné minimaliste aménagements vieillot ... Bref je déconseille fortement !

A bad one
Very very simple establishment; room very unconfortable; air conditioning did not work and they bought a portable one. This one was extremely noisy. Worse yet, we had to open the window so that the exhaustion pipe could fit in. As a result, the noise from the street was unberable with the open window, and we could not sleep at all. Immediately changed to another hotel, even when they said they would not reimburse me for the nights I did not stay there. The really only positive oint was the location. Be careful if you go for this one.

Super placering af hotel, gåafstand til alt. Værelse ikke særlig lækkert, gulvtæppe meget gammelt og virkede beskidt, toilet gulvet var boblet op af fugt, dør skaldet af maling af fygt, badeforhæng gamle og gult, Alt i alt værelset ikke godt men placering rigtig godt, brugt i morgenmaden

Tiene unas ventanas que no cierran bien y por lo tanto en el cuarto se escuchan todos los ruidos de la calle. El cuarto es amplio aunque la entrada al baño es un poco complicada El elevador para llegar al hotel es estrecho
