A luxury river-view apartment with AIR CONDITIONING (very rare in Paris...) on the Ile Saint-Louis, a spellbinding tiny island on the river Seine. This prestigious 55 sq metre apartment (592 sq. ft), completely redecorated with excellent finishings, is situated on the first floor, the “étage noble”, of a renovated historical building dating back to 1643, with elevator and concierge. The house is VERY QUIET and has got an entrance hall, a large living room with sofa bed with good mattress, a comfortable double bedroom, a well-equipped kitchen and a marble bathroom. The elegant and spacious living room boasts a decorative 18th century stone fireplace, 17th century up to 20th century oil paintings and gouaches, two wonderful armchairs produced by French artisans and two large windows overlooking the Seine and giving the chance to enjoy a fantastic view of the river, the Marie and Louis-Philippe bridges, the Paris city hall etc.. as well as the sight of the bateaux-mouches chugging down the river!
The kitchen is full equipped with any electric appliance (oven, microwave, silent dish-washer, washer-dryer, Nespresso coffee maker etc..). The bedroom is spacious and very peaceful and is characterized by a window on the internal courtyard, high quality modern furnishings, a monumental glass chandelier and a marble bathroom.

At disposal of the guests there are free internet WI-FI, Air Conditioning, TV LCD with Netflix, DVD, CD player and PRINTER.

The Ile-Saint-Louis, the very heart of ancient Paris, together with the other island Ile de la Cité, is an area absolutely unique and fascinating with its old-style buildings, tiny shops, restaurants and cafès. Furthermore it represents an excellent strategic starting point to visit the most famous attractions like Notre-Dame Cathedral, Sainte Chapelle, Conciergerie, the Tour Eiffel and others or districts like the Marais and Saint-Germain-des-Pres, many in a walking distance from the house, just off the bridges.

Enchanting apartment
My husband and I spent four lovely nights in this apartment overlooking the Seine. The caretaker, Catherine, was extra helpful in meeting us at the apartment and showing us how everything worked. She was also helpful in securing us a taxi for the airport. The apartment is compact and beautifully furnished. We prepared meals easily in the compact kitchen that has anll a person would need to prepare simple meals, and enjoyed sitting by the windows and watching the Seine. The bed and bedding are very comfortable and the window in the bedroom opens. There is very cool marble in the bathroom. We will be back!

Taking us back to another era.
Imagine the way it was all those years ago. The apartment has all the charm of the Paris of yesterday. The word we kept saying about the apartment was 'cozy' (in a good way). We loved coming back each evening after our adventures in Paris. Like other reviews mentioned, the kitchen was extremely small(but nice, modern and functional), and the wifi was very spotty in the bedroom. The apartment is not set up for lounging and watching tv because the furniture is not that comfortable (except for the bed which was very comfortable). Overall, we loved the location, We could watch the river which was magical.

Amazing property! The location, the view, the high ceilings, the comfortable bed...we loved all of it. Even the pull out couch was comfortable. Communication was easy, the property manager was lovely. The entire experience was excellent.

Nice, but . . .
Location is awesome - able to walk everywhere. Building entry is undergoing renovation and we were not informed of this. Also, television did not broadcast any English channels, but we were eventually able to get into Netflix after owner turned it on. Went to shower and all hot water was turned off - owner forgot to inform Management Company of this. We eventually figured out how to get the hot water back on, as Management Company was not helpful. While Catherine (manager) was very nice, she seemed quite confused and sent the plumber to the wrong address. Needless to say, while our day did not start off well, we had hot water when we returned to the apartment. Our bath towels were thin and one had a hole in it. The shower was a good 16 inches of a step up to get into the shower. The toilet was in a separate room of its own, near the front door, and it had a sewage smell. If you want a true "Paris" experience, then renting an apartment like this is for you. If you want necessities and little luxuries, then this is not for you. While we somewhat enjoyed our stay, we probably would not rent this again.

The flat was a 2 week stay for me and my wife . Just a beautiful flat. Watching boas traveling up the seine was so close. Perfect location for us, as we love this spot . Charming apartment in the heart of Paris
Excellent space on Île Saint-Louis for two people, stocked with everything you need for a comfortable and lovely stay, and with an unbeatable location: facing the river, within walking distance of several metro stations and many of the city's main attractions. The bedroom is at the back of the apartment, very quiet and with an extremely comfortable bed. We would love to return to Paris and stay here again. We loved it!! Hard to find a better place in this city.

Location fabulous , check in was easy the property was clean and comfortable. My wife is healing from a broken ankle the elevator was a savior the aircondioner was quiet and worked well and easy to operate . I will try for this property next time in Paris

Wonderful flat in the heart of Paris!
We loved this wonderful,very clean, well equipped flat in l’île St Louis! We were met by Catherine as promised. She was timely and simply wonderful with her tips and assistance (including arranging transport to the airport for our departure as well). This is a very walkable area- we walked as far as the Arc de Triomphe- easily logging 10 mi/day as it was very simple to navigate and centrally located. We appreciated all the extras- towel warmer, nice shower, ability to cook should you choose (the supermarket is merely steps away), comfy bed and pillows and…the view! All the amenities you could ask for are within a 5 minute walk. We enjoyed returning to this quiet little paradise after a long day in the crowds. We enjoyed this very much and will stay again when we return.

Lovely apartment and wonderful location
This was our second stay in this apartment and it was perfect for the two of us again. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen tiny but well equipped and functional, and the living room just beautiful, with its classic feel, high ceilings, and gorgeous view of the Seine. The location on L'Ile St Louis is excellent, with the feel of a quiet and historic neighborhood, but easy walking access to the right and left banks. We love the neighborhood with its many cafes, restaurants and art galleries, and its cute shops. Highly recommend this apartment!

Delightful!
This tiny flat is in an amazing, quiet area that is such a charming neighborhood, yet close to everything too. The views of the Seine are extraordinary, we enjoyed time spent looking out the large windows. The spacious living area is beautifully furnished, the other rooms—kitchen, bathroom and bedroom—are tres petite. There is an elevator that is tres tres petite but such a help. The property manager is very helpful. Excellent!

Dream vacation
Our family stayed 2 weeks at this amazing property! The location was ideal for a 1st time visit to Paris. All desired locations were easily accessible by walking or short subway rides. The island location allowed for a peaceful retreat at the end of each day. The architecture and furnishings of the apartment were absolutely beautiful! Catherine was a very helpful host who even arranged our cab to the airport on our final day. We can't wait to return! Book this property - you will not be disappointed!!

Magnificent views of seine
Perfect location for everything you want to do in Paris plus wonderful cafes right out the door. We watched the boats go by with a glass of wine every night. Catherine met us at the apt (earlier than check in time which was great for us!!) and showed us how everything worked. She was available to us by text the whole stay for anything we needed or had a question about in Paris. She also met us as we left for the airport.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the apartment. Restaurants, shops, coffee, and pharmacy are within walking distance. The area is very safe. My husband got sick while we were in Paris, and Catherine was quick to find us a doctor open on Saturday. She was so helpful and kind in her assistance. We enjoyed having coffee, watching the activity on the Seine. And relaxing in the apartment in the evening after a long day was a treat. We loved our stay at the apartment!

Classic Paris!
A wonderful apartment on the I'ile Saint Louis overlooking the Seine. Essentially perfect. As frequent visitors to Paris you could not ask for a better location to explore every thing Paris has to offer. Walk to all the sites, never leave the Island. Your choice. All the comforts of home, a wonderful hostess, it just works for a few days or months should you choose!

How does one describe perfection ? It is often difficult;however, not in the case of this apartment. From the location, to the decor, to the comfort, to the kitchen, this apartment is indeed a sample of perfection. The property manager, Catherine, a bundle of Gallic charm on an electric bike, is perfect. The large comfortable bed is perfect. The wooden hangers in the closets, color coordinated to the room, are perfect. The luxurious bed linens and towels are perfect. The kitchen appliances and equipment are perfect. The US size refrigerator is perfect. The furnishings are perfect. The view of the Seine is perfect. The complimentary toiletries are perfect. The assortment of books is perfect. Paris Dream Come True
The location and views are fabulous. The beautiful sunsets and watching boats on the Seine was a dream come true! The flat is stocked with pretty much anything you need. We loved walking the Island and then some, some. The host is extremely welcoming and accommodating.
