Doesn't even look remotely like what the pictures are. It's horrible I didn't end up staying because I was so disgusted. Stains on the walls in the corridor and in the room and on the floor. The lamps were almost falling off the floor. Disgusted with it

Check in process was dissapointing. Conceriege didn't accept the Expedia reservation as is and argued about the room type. It was late at night so we got scared. Eventually it was solved but left us with a bitter taste.

Not ideal for exploring Paris
We stayed at the Campanile for the Rugby match in November. The only positive thing is that it is close to the stadium. About a 10 min walk. The neighbourhood is quite dodgy and I would not walk around alone. It was the only hotel in France we stayed in that had a security guard at the door...Although I have to say we walked to the stadium and I never felt unsafe. The room smelt of wet mat and cigarette smoke. The rooms were a nice size and the bedding was clean but the mat was hideous and I would not walk barefoot on it. It is also quite far from the centre of Paris and I would not recommend it if you want to explore Paris center, Eiffel etc.

Worst hotel l have ever been in !
In this hotel, it seems dirty doors do not matter. The room l stayed in had filthy doors. The lift which was the only means up was filthy. I booked for two days but after the first day one of the managers came puffing and huffing to tell me that it was past checking out time. I had to politely correct her! I don't expect that mistake from a hotel. One of the cleaners just opened my room without knocking. She had to apologise but l just waved her away because l couldn't understand her explanation. The rule is always knock.

Efficient Checkin but thats about it!
Disappointing effort from a large brand like Campanile. The guy on the front desk checked us in quickly and with little fuss. Warm, dry with clean sheets but not much more. Broken shower fittings, no remote for the TV and the kettle was missing. We could not get our car up to the hotel to unload and nearby parking stations were closed forcing us to park on the street. 15minutes waiting plus 45 minutes in a taxi to get to Gare Nord at 730am the next morning means we will not stay there again.

Bad first time trip to Paris.
The hotel was hard for cab drivers to find, even with a GPS. You had to take a cab if you wanted to see anything at all, and the hotel kept trying to get us to take private car, which cost more. The upkeep of the hotel wasn't good, the carpets had stains, the rooms were small, and frankly, we were afraid to sleep under the covers on the bed. They had constant security, and the guards warned me every time I went outside to keep mind of pick pockets. Also, the city of Saint-Denis was very dirty, it had trash everywhere. NOT recommended, and not worth trying to save money. Spend the extra and stay where it counts!

Bad area we saw a man getting rob as he was uncon also saw a womab getting her bag nick from the hotel rection. Rooms was bad we had 3 beds in our room when there is only room for two and we did not need a thired bed as it was only me and my brother staying

Very satisfied with this hotel
Multilingual staff, very helpful even before arrival (over the phone:), very close to underground (metro station is just really steps away), and affordable...is down town Saint Denise, absolutely more than you can expect for the money, believe me.

Great for anyone
Excellent hotel, Expedia rate only slightly higher than a youth hostel. About 50 yards from a metro station. Good free wifi, kettle with coffee and biscuits in room. Restaurant has excellent food with a 3-course meal only 14 euros. Very slight negative - only one electric socket in room. Didn't get to test the air-con as it wasn't so hot and I didn't try to figure out the controls. One metro stop and half mile walk from Stade de France and AFNOR.

Relocated without Notice
Reception staff were not that helpful. On arrival for check-in, we were told, without any prior notice, that the hotel had overbooked and we were to stay in another hotel which was close to the CDG airport but farther from the city. We were told to come back for our last booked day. Coming back for check-in to this hotel, the room was not ready and we had to wait for it to be cleaned. The toilet bowl was so close to the wall it was difficult to sit. Good breakfast served.Good location just literally above a subway station.

OK FOR QUICK STOP
Hotel is peferct for somewhere to put your head down if your going to an event at the Stade de France however it is VERY BASIC and bathroom was clean overall, not unhygenic but worn and and I only slept because I was so tired after Madonna concert , beds are below standard. On plus side it had a nice TV, if you like TV!

The hotel was disgusting, stank of urine, what looked like faeces on the floor, not cleaned at all and no kettle! Complaints were made to hotel staff however they did not know what I was talking about! The hotel needs gutting and an industrial strength cleaner used on everything! Campanile - Paris Nord - Saint-Denis Centre - Grand Stade AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!

Quartier craignos, je suis arrivé à minuit et il y avait le même genre de personnes louches dans et hors de l'hôtel. L'hôtel en lui-même aurait besoin d'un bon coup de ravalement intérieur comme extérieur. La fenêtre de la chambre était tellement mal isolée que j'ai eu l'impression de dormir la fenêtre grande ouverte. En allumant le chauffage à fond j'ai eu froid (pas de couverture supplémentaire disponible...) Le petit déjeuner est ultra light pour le prix. Pour info, même si je ne l'aurait pas utilisé, il est indiqué sur la fiche d'Hotels.com qu'il y a un restaurant alors que ce n'est pas le cas. Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel même pour affaires, encore moins pour une famille.

C'est une catastrophe ! la chambre sale, la moquette catastrophique la propreté de la salle de bain berk ! le seul point positif les draps étaient propres, le personnel réactif aux problèmes et les petits déjeuners offerts pour une matinée en compensation de l'état de la chambre
