Rustic stay high in the Andes
"Please note this is not a 5 star stay. It is located in a small village high in the Andes close to Park Lauca and close to the Bolivian border. Parking is available but limited. Check in was simple and easy although English is limited. The hotel is rustic as is Putre. Room was small but clean. Two ..."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Vicuña. The owner Heinz drew a map for us of the key natural spots to look out for, lent us his own 2 warm jackets when we realised the weather was much colder than expected and he also recommended a brilliant detour on our way from putre to colchane, and we had nice ..."
