"A total mistake on my part making a booking at this hotel. It's inadequate in every way possible, no proper en suite, awful towels, etc. etc. I do not understand how a family could cope in these so called family rooms. Unfortunately I did not realise it is trying to be a theme type experience, rather than being a 'proper" hotel. We arrived at 5 pm and there was no parking available. The reception, corridor flooring etc. is as scruffy as you can get. I hope this helps to dissuade you from booking...

"Big, clean hotel with a small indoor pool. Staff were friendly but spoke limited English. Good selection for breakfast, but limited places to get a meal locally, and nothing available if you arrive late to check-in! 15 mins walk from Futuroscope (which is very much aimed at the French market). "

"This was a one night stop over and so we didn’t expect much. Room was OK, breakfast also OK. Lack of how water in the room was a definite issue, we didn’t find out about this until our morning showers by which time it was too late to do anything. "

"This property does not match the publicity photos - they must be at least ten years old! The reception didn’t even have any lights on and there was nowhere to get coffee. The place is shabby, the decor is faded, the bed was a worn out foam mattress on two planks of wood! The bedding was faded and had cigarette burns in it! The walls of the rooms are not soundproofed. I’m a biker and I’ve stayed in rough places but this was disgusting. I would NEVER recommend this place but I recommend Expedia...

"The chalet accommodation is ideal for us and our two small dogs as we do not disturb the hotel guests if the dogs want an early morning toilet. The food in the restaurant was very nice but an “over the top” bar tender added farce to a lovely evening. We have stayed in the chalets for the last two years but no maintenance work has been done on faulty door handles and toilet flushes."

"Lovely setting, very nice staff and nice hotel. Meal was very good, but disappointed that our 90euro per person meal did not have a fish course and a meat course, especially as the lobster half was very small. Also confit tomatoes did not go with the raspberry sorbet, not a good idea. But the sorbet was delicious "

"This is a budget hotel so don't expect fancy thrills. We were pleasently surprised. The hotel is clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff is friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was perfect. There many restaurants close by to choose from, within walking or driving distance. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and would stay here again if we were in the area."

"A great hotel run by superb staff. Super friendly and helpful we would definitely stay here again. A spacious area for parking is directly in front of the building with easy access to reception. It’s very dog friendly - some hotel’s accommodate dogs but are barely tolerant this isn’t one of them. There are tracks to walk from the door in beautiful countryside. "Upon arrival we were warmely greeted by Jocelyne and Jean Claude who showed us around the cottage. The cottage is very nicely furnished with all you need for a relaxing vacation, It would comfortably accomodate 10 as it is very spacious, there were only 4 of us so we had plenty of space. "Hôtel bien situé et agréable .. chambre spacieuse avec le lit très grand et confortable j ai dormi comme un bébé ! Salle d eau de bonne dimension avec une douche a mi chemin entre la baignoire et la douche idéale si vous avez des enfants en bas âge a doucher et sans mettre de l eau partout a la sortie de douche ! Je re prendrai une chambre sans hésiter "

Only a one night stay

"We booked the hotel to attend a music concert at the Futurascope Arena. The hotel is clean and tidy with excellent facilities. The bar has tables with games on them which was a unique touch. Check-in was easy, staff where very friendly and efficient. Room was a good size, bed was comfortable. The only downsides were that their were no drink making facilities in the room and the bathroom and toilet area were tired. We would use the hotel again. "
