"The location was very easy to find with clear instructions, and excellent communication at all times. We even had help from the owner phoning a local restaurant which was a nice touch. The garden was beautiful and the little pond even had three turtles in which the kids loved. Swimming pool was also great. "The house is just minutes from the beach. Even in early August the beach is not crowded. Water temperatures were around 16 C. The beach gets windy in the afternoon when kite surfers start. There are life guards which adds extra safety. The little town is cute with restaurants, beach cafes and a little grocery store. A train to Porto runs a few times a day. The house itself has some charming aspects such as the ocean view and the hardwood floor. The kitchen has a lot of useful things....
