"This was our first visit to Athens and was very short - no time to waste and important to have a comfortable place to relax and unwind after a long day exploring. The apartment was right in the heart of the city. Close to everything. Clean and comfortable for 4 people. Airconditioning worked well on a hot day. Helpful hosts. Cafes nearby were wonderful for breakfast and for dinner. Terrific local shops. We would happily stay again :)"

"We really enjoyed our brief stay in Athens, Stephanie was a great hostess and Alexandria in town was so friendly and helpful. The place was perfect size and the view of the sea from the balcony was wonderful. Just a block away from public transport which made our stay easy while navigating around Athens and so many yummy places just up the street with a cute little bakery just on the corner next to the place. "This apartment was excellent, and though I was traveling alone, would have been a great space for a small group. The hosts were kind and accommodating, even when my delayed ferry resulted in arriving somewhat late in the evening. A lot of thought and consideration went into how the space was set up and the nuanced conveniences (for example, had a can of hairspray, cereal in dispensers, etc). "Great unit in an amazing location. This apartment is close to restaurants, shopping, and the Acropolis.The hosts gave excellent recommendations and even offered a door to door shuttle from the airport. Highly recommended!"

"As two girls staying there, we loved the space. It was close to the city centre and walkable to a lot of the big tourist spots! It was relatively safe (using basic safety knowledge), and the locks to the building and apartment were fail-safe. There were extra towels, blankets, and pillows! Overall, great stay!"

"We were a party of 11 that booked the Acropolis Blue for two nights before we set off on a 10 day cruise. The house was amazing and fit our needs perfectly. It was exactly as pictured on the website. The owners took care of everything. They were also able to arrange transfers from the airport to the house and then from the house to the port. "What a lovely place! Used the shuttle service- was a bit expensive but worth it! Easy and safe, we felt taken care of. We got in early enough for dinner, which had a fee, but was also worth it, and delicious. Breakfest was light and perfect start to the day. We stayed one night, also they had cats and a dog on property, made it so cozy. "

"Stayed here for one night while in transit. Close to airport. Very quaint hotel in rural setting. Good breakfast. They offered to help us with shuttle to ocean front where there are many pubs and restaurants, but we did not take them up on offer, but nice they were so helpful. Shuttle to and from airport very convenient, we even had a mascot 😁"

"The staff at the hotel is excellent. They are helpful and very pleasant. From the front desk to the restaurant to the cleaning staff. Wonderful. The view from the restaurant is amazing. Breakfast had a lot of choices and dinner was first class. I highly recommend the Athens Gate Hotel."
