"Note if you bring pets the yard is not fenced in. We kept ours on leashes. They loved exploring though in the large yard. It was perfect.The cottage is close to lake. Very cozy quiet and clean your stay will be. Host easy to communicate with."

"Took opportunity to relax with my brother who had surgery about a month ago. The house and rec area was all on one level and convenient to Bridgeport and Decatur. Weather was perfect..water views were spectacular. "

"Overall we enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and there was plenty of room. Check in and out was easy. We used the house mostly for sleeping, not hanging out in and cooking. The kitchen could have been better stocked as there were barely a basic set of dishes and about 8 glasses total. The biggest negative for us was that the blinds throughout the house are not privacy blinds and are conpletely transparent at night. We unfortunately found this out our last night there and were concerned since...

"I was so excited to find this home to stay in during a family holiday weekend. My sister lives right around the corner so I was familiar with the rural setting and thrilled that there was a home so close to her rather than having to stay in Decatur. One amenity that we didn’t use but will keep in mind for future visits is that this home is handicap friendly with the exception of a downstairs shower. The first level is all floor, no bumps or awkward transitions and there is a small half bath...

"We stayed over the weekend while traveling to Fort Worth. It is a 15-20 min drive to the city. We have 2 dogs. The property has a large fenced back yard and is in a quiet neighborhood. The house was clean and updated. We enjoyed our stay. The back yard has a pool but it is not fenced so if you have small children that can't swim this may not be for you. There is a back patio with hook locks on the doors that would prevent small children from getting out in the back yard."
