"Overall we enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and there was plenty of room. Check in and out was easy. We used the house mostly for sleeping, not hanging out in and cooking. The kitchen could have been better stocked as there were barely a basic set of dishes and about 8 glasses total. The biggest negative for us was that the blinds throughout the house are not privacy blinds and are conpletely transparent at night. We unfortunately found this out our last night there and were concerned since...

"The home has a beautiful view out front and was so clean and beautiful on the inside as well. There is a great winery just down the street that we visited that you could probably walk to. The host is so responsive and kind. Overall we had a great stay and we all would highly recommend this spot. Would be great for hosting gatherings as well!"

You’ll see cows, hummingbirds, horses, and donkeys here and it’s a lot like returning to a place of simplicity and sanity. LOVE the fishing decor ... the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and the Property Manager made sure that there was a delivery waiting for us upon arrival of charcoal and utensils so we could bbq and enjoy s'mores on the deck in the back yard. They even included some cookies as a small welcome gift! Would consider staying again!"

My sister lives right around the corner so I was familiar with the rural setting and thrilled that there was a home so close to her rather than having to stay in Decatur. One amenity that we didn’t use but will keep in mind for future visits is that this home is handicap friendly with the exception of a downstairs shower. The first level is all floor, no bumps or awkward transitions and there is a small half bath...
