While we were out-and-about for most of the time, we enjoyed the comfortable and welcoming living space this home has to offer, especially the outdoor terrace which provided a private place to relax and enjoy the nice weather. "The house was a very nice size and had ample bedrooms and full baths. Comfortable beds and cool street-facing balcony in the master! The backyard was a great space, we all went out and stargazed every night! The unit was only a few blocks from the trolley station which made getting to the French Quarter so easy! My only small criticisms were the downstairs bath had no hot water and the house was missing some basic essentials (iron/board, blender, broom /vacuum). We would definitely stay...

"I’ve stayed at a dozen VRBO’s & am a landlord on that site also. This host was better than any other. She removed & replaced the outdoor cushions in the beautiful private garden area when it rained. Tried to fix the Firepit on the weekend. My wife’s very picky about products and complimented her stocking the rental with top quality expensive toiletries including new toothbrushes and paste. "The house is beautiful and has everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and off street parking right at the front door. The stairs were a little steep (which was not an issue for us) and my husband and son had to be careful not to bump heads on the ceiling when going up! The host is wonderful and the neighborhood was fine but we never walked anywhere from the house. Streets are under construction but hopefully done soon. "Over all it was a good experience. We were with our family and all had our own space. The way the home was set up was different but still a good experience. There was a cute large picture on the wall in the first room that kept unsticking from the wall so we had to keep fixing it. The guests before us hid all the dirty towles and trash in the basement so we cleaned up after them as well. We definitely tried to leave it better then we got it. But all in all we were grateful they let us check in...
