"I really enjoyed the hippos grazing at night. The staff also built us a bonfire the first night we were there and we were able to eat around it. The biggest problem was they said we were not expected ( even though my name was clearly on their guest list) and that they did not know we had a 6 year old with us. They were very confused at first and did not know how to handle the situation. One man was very unfriendly."

"For the money it is a good location. Not far from Paraa where it is 3-4 times more this hotel ot is a bargain. With little improvement could be a super deal. Even so it is a good deal. "The staff were friendly and tried to be helpful. Unfortunately, the property elected to keep the generator off unless meals were being prepared. Lights were operational, but the fan, electrical outlets, and water heater were all rarely operating. I could not open the windows because the mosquito net was too small for the bed. With the hot weather, the temperature in the room was miserable overnight. I will not stay there again."

"I am really, really tired of hotels claiming that they have ‘free wifi’ (I stay in hotels >300 nights per year). This hotel had only intermittent electricity (so no power to the small fan in the room at night). In 48 hour stay perhaps 2 hours of connectivity. I encourage Hotels.com to add a third category “wifi MAY be available”"

"After paying in advance for room and half board (breakfast and dinner), staff insisted that we produce evidence we had paid since their booking agent had not yet transferred the funds we had sent many weeks prior to our stay.
