Nestled in an enviable location, Laura's Tower offers stunning views of Paonia and its mesas, making it the perfect destination for romantic escapes, remote work, and family or group getaways. The spacious two-story house boasts a versatile open floor plan and is designed for ultimate comfort. Well behaved pets enjoy their stays at the Tower and love the decks. The entire house is yours!
Upstairs, guests can enjoy the sunny private deck, a king-sized bed, twin sofa couch, a 50-inch HDTV, office desk, and design spaces, as well as a spacious bathroom with an oversized bathtub and shower.
The well-equipped kitchen, located on the lower floor, boasts full range and oven, dishwasher, and Liebherr fridge. The kitchen was renovated in October 2021 with stone countertops and a butcher block island, making it the perfect place to prepare a full celebratory meal. The kitchen window offers a breathtaking view of Paonia and the surrounding mesas, providing the perfect backdrop while you cook and dine. And, with the full professional BBQ grill, you can enjoy a delicious barbecue in the open air on the lower deck.
For your comfort, both bathrooms in the Tower are equipped with in-floor heating, and the small bathroom downstairs also features heated tile floors, a sink, and washer/dryer. The dining area boasts a round antique walnut table with three wooden chairs and two south-facing windows, which provide natural light. The queen sofa sleeper couch is positioned to face the TV on the lower floor, offering a convenient separation between dining and relaxing spaces.
The upstairs open floor plan features a king-sized master bed, twin sleeper sofa, private deck, two work spaces, a 50-inch TV, and a full bathroom with shower and oversized bathtub. Hosted by the same team that brought Kale's Cottage Airbnb to Paonia in 2015, guests can expect top-notch service and amenities.
Guests have access to the entire Tower, parking area, and deck spaces.
Laura's Tower is a truly unique property, offering spectacular views of the river valley and surrounding mountains. During the winter months, passing snow showers on the Grand Mesa can be viewed from the kitchen window, and during the growing season, fruit trees and large cottonwoods offer added privacy and shade. The porch decks are inviting, and we hope that while you are here, you take some time to simply enjoy the beautiful natural spaces surrounding the property.

Beautiful 2-story cabin. Basic looking on the outside but well appointed on the inside. Upstairs bathroom has heated floors and the largest solo soaker tub I’ve ever seen! Kitchen has modern appliances. Owner was very friendly & willing to help. I had a family emergency and he offered to help as best he could. I’m definitely coming back!

Great little spot nestled in small town Paonia! Neat cultural vibe in the town with quaint restaurants and shops to visit on Main Street. The place was cozy, and comfortable, and clean, and a perfect little spot in town to hang our hats for the night. Kale, our host, was fantastic, and we would definitely stay here again!

This was a perfect getaway!
Really enjoyed our first time in Paonia. Laura’s Tower is a great central location for all we wanted to do in the surrounding areas. Plus the views are amazing and it was cozy and relaxing, Amenities are up to date and the kitchen was nice and functional. Made our visit with our granddaughter perfecto! We will be back! Best spot in town with great balcony view
Everything about Laura's Tower was perfect for my wife and me. Incredibly clean--like no dust anywhere. Kudos to whoever does the housekeeping between guests. Very comfortable bed; nicely appointed furniture and kitchen (we loved the modern countertops). My favorite thing is the balcony outside the front door overlooking part of the town in the foreground, and beautiful orchards on the hills in the distance; it's a great place to sit for a long while with coffee in the mornings and wine at night. I admit I'm not a huge fan of the town, itself, but we were there for the wineries and countryside--the river is great, too. We stayed two nights, but realized we would have had plenty of other things do and see if we'd stayed a few more. All the formal things, like check-in, communication, etc., were excellent, as well.

We stayed one night while passing through the area but I wish it were longer. This place has gorgeous views from every window. Quiet and secluded but easy to find with fantastic instructions from the hosts. The space is so clean and comfortable with everything you need. It was the perfect layout for us to make own meals and our toddler to have his own futon bed to sleep. Can't recommend this place enough.

Lisa and Mike are great hosts, the place was wonderful, clean and comfortable. Everything including the hot tub was beyond our expectations. The king size bed was also very comfortable with all the pillows you need. My daughter slept on the sofa in the living room and Lisa made her bedding which was great after a long day on the road. Great place with everything provided, including spices, coffee, laundry soap, etc. We hiked North Rim to Green Mountain, and fly fished North Fork of the Gunnison. Probably one of my favorite Vrbo/AirBnb that I have stayed in. Cute house up on the hill, and was perfect for our two pups. Host really went above and beyond with an information binder left on the dinner table with information ranging from the property to things to do around the area. Super clean, nice and quiet. Can’t recommend it highly enough
Probably one of our best rental experiences to date and we travel extensively. Every possible item you would need has been provided and everything is high end. I know she is updating the posting and her check in emails but her updates on the property are top notch. Have to admit I did two soaks in the ginormous soaking tub and it was heaven. Everything worked, it worked well and we were supremely happy. The internet was great, the tvs have all the streaming services, the kitchen is decked to the nines and the bathrooms BOTH have HEATED FLOORS … we went in the late winter/early spring and it was a complete delight. They have all the kitchen kit you could want, including BBQ extras which we sadly didn’t have the chance to use. We saw a ton of birds (birdsong in the morning is great but the house is so well insulated you can’t hear them with the windows closed), and deer regularly visited the property. The driveway is narrow and turn around is more 10 point than 3 point but it’s Paonia. So many things to do and the town is recovering nicely from the pandemic. Again - can’t recommend enough. Kale is very communicative and helpful.
