You do need a car because Masseria Le Lamie is not within walking distance to the nearest town."

The host/owner didn't ahve the wifi "loaded" when we arrived, and we actaully arrived a day later than scheduled, and we didn't end up having wifi until the following day, which for some is not an issue but it really was for me. The cell service is also very light there and so I had to get on the roof deck to connect- not the best experience. The place is really fun and unique and it IS remote.
