"Lovely outlook and very nice house. Description a bit misleading - there are not 2 bathrooms, there is 1 bathroom and a cloakroom. There is no restaurant/ bar in the village, it closed 2 years ago. The bikes were locked away. I had to ask for access details and they were sent late. No signal on the TV for most of our stay. All small things on their own, but not when added up. "We arrived in Macerino after our drive from Rome to be greeted by our hosts Maria and Franco in the square of the village. "The house was just as pictured. The only surprise was having to meet someone in town to follow them to the house. Driveway was a challenge, but once we got used to it, it was easy to find. "My family just got home from a perfect stay at the Villa Campi di Sotto! I just can't say enough for the the whole experience... First, the Villa itself is in a lovely setting, surrounded by the rolling green hills of Umbria.
